Went here on Friday night on set menu, cold and hot meze plus choice of main and glass of fizz, all very good. Waitress was attentive and good.Turkish house wine quite drinkable. Not as busy as previous visits which was a shame.

Had a birthday party, table booked for 15 guests, 18 turned up in the end and it was a busy night. Staff were very accommodating and resolved any issues. We were slightly a difficult group, what with splitting the bill from alcohol and non alcohol, individuals and so on. The staff were ever so helpful and resolved all our issues, with extra chairs and going round each person one at a time to pay for their bill. They were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and the portions were great... and for the price... amazing. We also had a belly dancer, who really made the evening fun, involving myself and others to try their hand at a bit of Turkish dancing. Had an excellent time and slept like a baby that day with the belly full food and tired from the entertainment. Would recommend this place to anyone. Great for anything from couples to larger groups.

Given some of the reviews on service I was pleasantly surprised at the great service. I had a lunch with a recruiter I had known but not seen for years so wanted a place to be able to chat without too much noise. In the online booking process I had requested a quiet table if possible. We were given a great window table in the corner. That was the start of a very good experience and the rest was all perfect: on going service, atmosphere, food and price.

I came here with 3 colleagues for lunch. We chose a la carte and started with the mixed meze which was excellent value at £7.95 for about 7 good sized tasty dishes and bread. We chose various mixed grills for main and 3 of us has desserts. We shared a bottle of white and red wine, the red in particular was very good value for money (NZ pinot noir at about £33). We all thought the food was well prepared and high quality though the portions were smaller than other restaurants which probably was not bad as the starters were so large.

I had a rice pudding type dish for my dessert and it was not great - it tasted a bit insipid and had a slightly odd consistency.

The service was a bit of a let down. Since we had red and white wine there was a bit of confusion with when to have the wine and numbers of glasses needed. My coffee cup had lipstick on it. Also a waitress looked like she was getting a telling off from her boss in front of the diners. Our waitresses were pleasant though, polite and smiling. We were served quickly even though it was very busy.

The bill came to around £50 a head including service (optional) but including about £15 per head for wine and water, desserts and coffee.
