Description: Fora Restaurant, one of the best Turkish restaurants in London, is largely the heritage of Ottoman cuisine, which can be described as fusion and refinement of Central Asian, Caucasian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Balkan cuisines. The interior designed is based on Ottoman Empire tradition that is sophisticated and luxurious. The entrance door, caftan of sultans, wall lights and detailed wood works are the example of some of the characteristics of Ottoman tradition. Therefore Fora is considered as an informal dining house offering all day eating experience by providing authentic cooking at exceptional. We are always working hard to bring freshly cooked dishes to your table. Everyday, hundreds of guests walking in for the lunch, and we've got very short time to provide Fora's best quality dishes possible. No problem! Our experienced team will prepare a warm and rich food for you day after day quality and value. EXPLORE THE NEIGHBOURHOOD Fora Restaurant is good place to have dinner before or after of some of the local attraction. Jack The Ripper Walk: This tour is very interesting tour with good story telling including a vivid image of London. Nearby Mitre Square, where famous Catherine's body was found, is starting point of the walk. Heron Tower: Heron Tower is located in the heart of the city accommodates cutting edge bars and dining place such as Sushisamba and The Drift. It's double-deck elevator is certainly fast. You will fall in love with the view of London especially at night. The Gherkin: The Gherkin, a stunning architecture, is an astonishing place with its the panoramic view of London including St. Paul Cathedral, "Cheesegrater", the Shard and Tower 42.

I do enjoy going to fora for lunch or dinner occassionally. The set menus are good to try / sample a variety of different dishes.

“Fab Fora”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

We had a great meal at Fora. The staff were so knowledgeable and gave you good advice on choice of starters and mains. The whitebait and the aubergine baked in tomato starters were delicious while the chicken ottoman main was really nice. The Turkish rose wine was delicious and good value for money. Please try the Fora out you certainly won't be disappointed.

“good value Turkish food”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Went here on Friday night on set menu, cold and hot meze plus choice of main and glass of fizz, all very good. Waitress was attentive and good.Turkish house wine quite drinkable. Not as busy as previous visits which was a shame.

“For £25, awesome evening.....”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Had a birthday party, table booked for 15 guests, 18 turned up in the end and it was a busy night. Staff were very accommodating and resolved any issues. We were slightly a difficult group, what with splitting the bill from alcohol and non alcohol, individuals and so on. The staff were ever so helpful and resolved all our issues, with extra chairs and going round each person one at a time to pay for their bill. They were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and the portions were great... and for the price... amazing. We also had a belly dancer, who really made the evening fun, involving myself and others to try their hand at a bit of Turkish dancing. Had an excellent time and slept like a baby that day with the belly full food and tired from the entertainment. Would recommend this place to anyone. Great for anything from couples to larger groups.

“Surprisingly great service”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

Given some of the reviews on service I was pleasantly surprised at the great service. I had a lunch with a recruiter I had known but not seen for years so wanted a place to be able to chat without too much noise. In the online booking process I had requested a quiet table if possible. We were given a great window table in the corner. That was the start of a very good experience and the rest was all perfect: on going service, atmosphere, food and price.
