Description: London's most authentic Mexican taqueria. The same tastes, ingredients, flavors and smells found in Mexico City. As one of the most popular restaurants providing authentic Mexico City cuisine in London, the chefs at Lupita pride themselves on the authenticity of their dishes. Choosing to use only fresh, flavoursome ingredients to create exciting and tastebud tingling dishes, the menus at Lupita are a true reflection of the incredible flavours, colours and smells found throughout Mexico. In September 2012, Zagat, the worldwide ratings and reviews website for restaurants, released their London 2012 survey results announcing that Lupita had made the top five Mexican restaurants in the city.Enjoy a wide range of dishes from tacos, tostadas, quesadillas and enchiladas to salads, soups and totopos (traditional homemade tortilla chips) before washing it all down with one of Lupita’s much loved margaritas, made with 100% agave tequila.

Nice Little Mexican Restaurant- very busy. The food was good and they knew what gluten free meant (most of London doesn't seem to know). Had a great lunch here- staff is friendly and the place is clean.

I really cannot understand the high ratings for this restaurant. Always wanted to try it and last friday we had the chance to. We were both really dissapointed though. The food was ok, flavor was good but the meat felt really dry. And everything seemed very overpriced compared to other central london authentic mexican places. Will definitely not visit again.

Popped in for a light bite and were greeted by friendly staff, delicious food and a good atmosphere. The dishes were fresh, tasty and authentic. The flavours were delicious and unlike any other Mexican food I have had from some of the well known chains. Prices were fine for both the food and drink. Would recommend this restaurant for a light meal.

As a former California resident who grew up on Mexican food, I'm always excited to try Mexican places here in London. From the get go, the experience was frustrating as there was a clear queue of people waiting, which we joined. Then people started going through the queue to put their names down and the gentleman seating people just went along with it. When we said something (as I'm 8+ pregnant) he said there was nothing he could do about it so we watched people get seated who were way back from where we were in the line. There was gesture or apology, but we stayed because we wanted to try the food. The "guacamole artesanal" was eh, not worth the £11. The food was good, but the waiter missed a few things that we ordered and it was difficult to get good service. It's better than some "Mexican" restaurants in London, but leaves plenty to be desired.

Enjoyed my first 'authentic' Mexican meal in the UK here. No tex mex in sight, much to my delight! Slightly on the pricey side, however Central London & authenticity value, very much worth the money.
Topotos Classico were delicious, as were the tostadas. The stand out dish for us were the Conchinita Pibil Tacos. Gorgeous! The pitcher Passion Fruit Margaritas went down a treat. Strong & fresh taste. Lovey.
