Was looking for Xmas flat for family of 6 and I chose this one because of the reviews. I have to say, the flat surpassed all of our expectations! It is really festive and cozy with lovely appointments and superb location. Check-in was smooth. Only two small complaints - the WIFI was intermittent and not strong (tough as we run our family business remotely) and the CO monitor beeped constantly. Otherwise - the flat is wonderful! The furnishings were nicely upscale - it's hard to tell from the pics how comfy and spacious the living room is - and the round spinner chair was a favorite! Nice TV - with a good collection of DVDs. The kitchen was fine (mind the steps) - we had XMAS dinner and another meal with London friends, and all worked out beautifully. Master bedroom suite is HUGE. Mid bedroom is small but adequate - a little musty in the closet. Bunk room was small, but served the purpose, and has a nice sky-light! The brick alcove is IN the flat downstairs with the bedrooms and bathrooms - and it is charming, with a mounted TV on the opposite wall. Building was very quiet - we didn't hear another resident in 8 days! Two awesome pubs super close - Ship and Shovel (Dickens' favorite) is adjacent, and the Sherlock Holmes is just steps away. Be sure to listen to the walking tour narration outside the door to hear about the quirky history of Franklin and Dickens on Craven St.! There is a binder in the flat with info and check-out instructions - they request that we empty all trash, strip the beds, and then mail the keys in a self-addressed enveloped. It gave a little concern as the address on the envelope did not match the one in the binder - but we followed through and are hoping for the best!
We found this property by chance on TripAdvisor and have just returned from a 2 night break.
The apartment is in a fantastic central London location just off Trafalgar Square/Strand and within easy walking distance of Mayfair, Leicester Square and the Theatreland.
5 of us stayed (3 adults and 2 children) and there was more than enough room for all of us. The apartment is well equipped including flat screen TVs and fast wifi.
The booking process was easy and all questions were answered quickly.
Overall, highly recommended and we'll definitely be back!
This flat is located right near Trafalgar Square and is within walking distance of many of the London sights as well as great restaurants and pubs. It is also a short walk to the various theaters. The flat comfortably sleeps four with the bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. Upstairs the kitchen is roomy and very well equipped. The living room is very large and contains a very nice size TV
I would not recommend this flat to anyone with a handicap or is up in age as the steps to the bedrooms is quite steep and maneuvering luggage can be a challenge. But to anyone else this would be a great choice

You could not find a better location for touring the highlights of London. Easy walking to Whitehall, Picadilly, waterfront, many restaurants, and steps from Tube and train to take you anywhere else. Flat itself is lovely - wonderful beds and bathrooms, well-appointed kitchen, comfy living room. The only downside is the pub right outside - literally - which can be very noisy until 11 pm. However, the noise was muted downstairs in the bedrooms, and after a full day of touring, we had no trouble falling asleep. The owner provided perfect information, and the key agent who met us arrived early and could not have been more pleasant.
