We cannot say enough about the excellent location of this flat. You can take the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow to the Russell Square Tube Station. Once you leave the baggage reclaim area at Heathrow, follow the signs to the Underground. Purchase an Oyster Card as you enter the Tube entrance; we added 20 pounds for our 4 day visit but ended up adding to it on our last day. If you used a credit card to purchase your Oyster card, remember to go back to the Oyster Card machine at your last destination and select a refund for any unused money and the 5 pound service charge for using the credit card. The Tube ride is long (22 stops) and crowded but might as well get used to that if you plan to travel that way. The Russell Square station is directly across the street from the flat. We texted Keirion on WhatsApp and he met us at the entrance within 5 minutes and escorted us to the flat.

The flat is situated directly above a plaza of shops; you can literally get anything you need at your doorstep. We ate at a few of the cafes in the plaza and were quite pleased. But don't be afraid to venture out a few blocks in any direction for a full English breakfast, for example (it's a bit cheaper too). There is a small lift if you have heavy luggage but otherwise the flat is up 2 flights of stairs. Two sets of keys were provided so that really helps if you have different travelers on different schedules. The flat has everything you need; unfortunately the washing machine was out of order but Keirion had scheduled maintenance on it. The beds are typically European--firm with a fitted sheet and comforter. The lighting is a bit weak but that's probably more my issue since my eyesight has grown weaker with age. The sitting room has large windows that provide plenty of light and the side balcony was perfect for morning coffee. Oh, as far as using the shower--don't use the two lower faucets; use the top two instead! And thanks for the cable TV!

You can find the Hop On Hop Off bus connection a few streets over. It connects with the main line in Piccadilly but saves you some steps if you've grown weary of the crowds and traffic. We were there on a weekend and the Hop On Bus took forever to make it through the most touristy areas. I would recommend taking the bus with a live commentator (T2, I believe). They fill the time better when stuck in traffic. Otherwise, the headphone commentary provides the most basic knowledge. We finally hopped off at Westminster, walked across the bridge, and followed the South Bank to Tower Bridge. It was a wonderful experience and of course the best views of London from that side of the Thames. From the flat, we also walked into the West End to see a play so if you have an app (or map), it's easy to chart a course through the west end of London.

We loved our time in London and filled each day with joyful experiences but it was a true gift to have a roomy and comfortable place to return to each day! Cheers Keirion!

“Great location”

On a recent stopover, my family and I spent two nights here and it was in a great location in a lovely area of London with lots of shopping opportunities nearby as well as pretty parks to walk through. St Pancras/Kings Cross as well as Russell Square tube station are all within a very easy walk. Very roomy apartment, comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen made this a great stay for us all. The apartment also boosts large living room windows that pull in a tremendous amount of light as well as a little patio that you are able to walk out onto for a breath of fresh air.

What can I say, the heading says it all - the whole experience was 'great'. The apartment was large, clean, warm and had everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. Kierion was wonderful, friendly, helpful and yet not intrusive. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

“Big and spacius apartment.”

Stay only for 2 nights, in a nice, big apartment with my wife, and 2 adults sons. Has 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, and 2 big sofa. The apartment has everything you need for long stay, clean towels, washing machine, kitchenet equipment, etc. The apartment is inside in the Bloomsbury shopping center, but is very quite. The location is near to everything, British Museum, Oxford street, and city center, 5 minutes away.
Kerion, the owner, was very polite, but you have to contact with him before , to give you his mobile.

Liked best: I loved the location
Liked least: The bed. Although decent it was a little hard for my taste.

“Excellent location, great value”

My husband, sister and I spent a week at this flat and enjoyed it immensely. The location is excellent if you are planning to see London by tube- its around the corner or by walking to nearby sites like the British Museum and Library. The grocery store is in the complex along with great coffee shops, restaurants and services. The apartment is quite large with a balcony that looks out onto Brunswick Square - a little green in the city. We enjoyed our evening wine while watching the comings and goings of locals and tourists. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils - I cook when I travel so I appreciate this. The beds were comfortable and bathroom well appointed. The living room furnishings were a little old and the sofas could have been more comfortable - but no a big issue for us - we sat outside. We will happily rent again from Keirion - he was very accommodating and correspondence with him was easy and efficient.
