I can only echo a reviewer from a week ago and wish I had looked at the review on this site before travelling. We usually check hotels on trip advisor but previous positive experiences led us to believe that Premier Inn is a reliable brand and we had no concerns. We have never stayed in this Premier Inn before and arrived early evening after a long and tiring drive from Somerset to go to see Monty Python at the O2. We had booked the underground parking weeks in advance and paid the very reasonable charge on arrival. The pillar next to where we parked was marked Premier Inn and we accidentally parked in the wrong space 2 spaces away from our Premier Inn reserved space. The Premier Inn payment slip was clearly displayed in the window and yet when we came down in the morning, we were shocked to find a parking ticket. It was not made clear enough to us by the reception staff that there was a strong risk of being ticketed if we were incorrectly parked. It seems completely unreasonable to us that the parking attendant booked the car without informing the Premier Inn reception and requesting we move the vehicle into our empty reserved space. The car park was virtually empty at the time of parking. We have contacted Premier Inn customer services to raise this issue; in our view, they should make it much clearer to visitors to take care to park in the allocated spaces and should also improve their signage. Finally, since the ticket was given at 21:19 on a Saturday evening in a virtually empty underground car park with a clearly displayed parking permit for Premier Inn, we can only assume that London Parking solutions attendants are deliberately targeting visitors who make this mistake and that Premier Inn are happy for them to do so. It is a great shame because the hotel is good and the room was excellent.

Spent 2 nights at this Premier Inn as it was convenient for the O2.

Arrived earlier than expected, staff were very friendly & were happy to allocate us a room for an early check in.

As advised by their website, we called in advance to reserve parking. This is a great facility & I'd recommend it. It cost us £15 which I was happy to pay, but we were not made aware of the charge on booking.

Room was big enough for the both of us. Fairly standard for a Premier Inn. Very clean & comfortable.

The wifi was very hit & miss, again this is fairly standard for a Premier Inn.

Our main issue was at breakfast. There was a queue to be seated, which I have no issue with. The lady who was seating people was clearly doing so as quickly as possible. We were sat at a dirty table which was soon cleaned for us, it just illustrates how quickly people were being seated.

As usual it was a help yourself buffet breakfast. When we went to do this we found all 3 juice containers empty, all 3 milk jugs empty, the water jug empty, & no glasses available.

Clearly the kitchen staff were unable to cope with the number of diners being seated.

One guest had already resorted to drinking juice from a bowl!

The focus was on the cooked breakfast. A member of staff arrived with a jug of milk, for the growing queue of people waiting with dry bowls of cereal. When she saw a couple of empty dishes on the hot food counter she turned around shouting "more food!" in such a panic that she spilt some of the milk on the floor & dashed back to the kitchen, taking the milk with her, leaving the dry cereal queue once again disappointed.

We paid extra for breakfast but were disappointed by an amount of it being unavailable. I would rather have waited longer to be seated than be seated quickly but go hungry & thirsty.

I intended to make the staff aware of the issues when checking out, however the queue to check out was snaking around the reception area. The staff were struggling with a language barrier between themselves & some guests, whilst trying to explain their good night guarantee script! I left my card key behind their counter & left.

I have completed the survey sent to me following our stay.

I'm not sure if I'd be eligible for any kind of refund under the good night guarantee. The night was ok, it was the morning that was a shambles!

stayed for 5 nights, wonderful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, very good restaurant , quiet area, close to DLR which means good transportation to Central London, near Greenwich park

Check in staff were brilliant, courteous and helpful. We had an excellent air-conditioned clean room (415) that was wonderfully quiet. Can't fault the meal deal of dinner and breakfast. Perhaps a softer bed would have been nice, but until you've tried it for a night, how do you know?

So impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, especially our room! We were very grateful for the excellent air con (32 degrees outside). The staff were super friendly, nothing too much trouble, happy to chat to you!! Fab breakfast!! Excellent value! Very conveniently situated for going to the O2 arena. Would definitely recommend a stay here!!!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We needed a large quiet room in London for our son in a wheelchair. This is probably the largest room I've ever seen in a London hotel. We're coming back in October.

The warmth of the welcome made our stay better!! Rooms were good, spacious, light and clean. Breakfast was really good too!! Ideal location for g=Greenwhich and the O2. Top notch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
