I regret that it does not indicate on the confirmation email the train or the metro station could close

a bottle of water in the room would have been more

there was a caterpillar under my sheets ... unsettling

This has been my fourth stay here in three years. Since last time the hotel has had a cosmetic lift, with new carpet, fittings in the bathrooms, and a tasteful paint job. All this is a nice touch but really, it was a good place to stay even before that.

Yes, the rooms are tiny, but there are many providers in central London offering the same thing but with reduced service and so reduced value for money.

I like this place. The breakfast staff are attentive and while the food is the same each time, it is consistently good. The lift always works and is helpful when moving heavy bags up or down stairs. The rooms and bathrooms are always clean and there is always someone manning the reception desk.

The rooms are well heated, or in warmer weather can be ventilated.

The location is very convenient for me. It's off the Main Street so there's reduced traffic noise, Olympia centre and the overground stop is in the next block, Shepherds Bush, Hyde Park, and Hammersmith are all about 15 minutes easy walk away.

Get over the smaller room size and you will have an enjoyable stay

First of all, have to say the facility is clean. My room was very clean and that was important. In fact, my room on the ground floor was enormous with about 12 foot ceilings! There was a large cold draft coming from the windows by the bed, however that made it uncomfortable. No pictures or decorations to speak of, its rather spartan. Couldn't use the phone in the room, was told thats not allowed and having no cell service, made it a bit difficult. The staff is a little indifferent but I think thats a cultural thing.

I think its really overpriced for what you get but its incredibly convenient for anyone going to a conference at the Olympia Center. Its literally 2 short blocks walk.

Shower and bath looked new plus there was a towel warmer.

Room Tip: its bare bones but clean.

Stayed there on business trip. Disgustingly small bedroom, zero customer service and just plain horrible. Fire alarm went off middle of the night, which was luckily a false alarm, but everyone trundled outside and waited to hear what was wrong. Management tried to sort out alarm panel, but did not know how to operate it.

Room Tip: Avoid this hotel.

Hotel made an error in booking dates for my business stay and then insisted this was non-refundable and non-transferrable. Initially they accepted that the error was theirs but then when trying to change the booking changed their mind about accepting any financial responsibility and rather than transferring the payment were insisting on full payment for the new booking (which if course is fine) and no refund for the erroneous booking!

Room Tip: Luckily there's plenty of other hotels in the area

This hotel is in Central London and it is very closely located to the Underground, Overground and the buses. We stayed in a double bed. It was enough for us and our baby. A bit small though but it was comfy and cozy. Our room was cleaned everyday, despite the fact that staying with baby creates more mess in a small room.
The had very courteous staff. Their wait staff for the breakfast time was very polite. The receptionists were also very nice. Specially Julia, who was the best of all. She was very courteous, helpful and polite.

Room Tip: Look this hotel up on magic stay.. there was a sign on the reception about it. Maybe this is helpful...

The service of the hotel staff was very good indeed. The breakfast was adequate in terms of selection, but very tastefull. The hotel door let in far to much noice from the hallway. The windows are due to changing due to breakage and rot, but did not let noice from the street in.
