“Hard to fault”
Reviewed 18 June 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

Utterly reliable for a steak/chips and a glass of wine after working late in the office. It's my default choice when I need a proper meal with a colleague near the office after work. Something for everyone, and a menu that let's you imagine, briefly, that you might be back on holiday in France.

“Breakfast - always a treat”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

Just had French Toast, delicious. Perfectly cooked egg-drenched toast. Loads of fruit and plenty of maple syrup. On previous occasions I've had Eggs Benedict, and a Full English Breakfast, also perfect. Their coffees and cappuccinos are good too.

“Average food, uncomfortable setting”
Reviewed 11 June 2014 via mobile

We have visited for dinner and ordered couple of stakes. Food was ok, not great for the price. Apple tart seemed to be too tough and too dry

The environment was quite unpleasant, with excessive noise levels, made even worse by fire alarm constantly going off every few minutes. This has ruined the experience

Service was ok, but we did have to remind them to bring plates for our starter and dessert came without full complement of cutlery too

On positive note, staff were very friendly and wine was excellent

“Great value set lunch”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

We visited yesterday with friends having visited a couple of times in the past. We all opted for the set menu which was excellent value, the choices per course were very good and one was substituted which was good, the food was all excellent as was the wine ad the service. We will most certainly visit again.

“Excellent dine in or take away”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

The bunch was excellent with light seafood pasta and salad. Savouries and take aways are also very convenient. Conveniently located next to St. Pauls cathedral is a stone's throw away from Hotel Club Quarters on Ludgate Hill
