Great points - the room. A very good size for the price and for London. Very clean and modern and well-equiped. Shower was excellent. The hotel's spa is also first class. It is immaculate and doesn't appear to be too busy (we stayed Fri & Sat nights). It has a 25m pool which is great for those that like a good swim.
Not so good points - possible clash with very large functions (it's huge), the communal bar areas (probably best avoided for better alternatives nearby). Also very busy reception queues at checkout if hotel is busy. Elevators don't often cope with the hotel volumes (no excuses here - isn't there a formula for that?)
The awful points - the breakfast arrangements. It's a massive food hall with shambling service by staff who are not trained and don't appear to have a system in place! Would be better if all self-service, but you do need the staff for coffee/toast. Tip: if you have the option of paying extra for breakfast, then don't. You will most likely be very disappointed by the experience.More
