4 star hotel offering great rates the the moment. Rooms are as per other reviews and high quality. The staff are very friendly and want to help you. I do have to agree with some of the comments about the food however. The continental breakfast was poor quallity - buffet style and help yourself with the exception of toast and tea/coffee, which is served at table but slowly. We took the Wetherspoons option the following day which is next door.
The hotel is in a great location though - Spitalfields just round the corner for great restaurants.
Reference Tower Hill tube - use Aldgate instead as an option; 5 minute walk.
Would recommend.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel when he was in London for work.

It has recently been refurbished and is such a lovely hotel. Its really modern, and the rooms are very spacious and comforrtable. The bed we slept in was huge - a super king I presume. And it was very very comfy. The reception area is very luxurious and the staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly.

I would reccomend this hotel for business travellers and couples - I personally wouldn't want to take very young children here, as it seems very posh, but I'm sure they do cater for families.

Overall a lovely hotel, I'm sure anyone staying here won't be disapointed!!

This is a very smart, comfortable new hotel, just outside the City, in an area that is getting more and more presentable. It's very easy to find and ideally located with bus, tube, DLR and river connections all within a short walk. We had a standard room on the 5th floor. The hotel was very busy but once in our room, we heard nothing. There was plenty of room and it was well appointed and comfortable. We got a deal at £99 a night room only, which was good value - breakfast at £20 each was not but there are plenty of places nearby, including a Weatherspoons next door, where a decent breakfast could be had for a fraction of that. The rack rate was, apparently £334 a night. If you can get a room here for under £130, you're on to a winner.

Room Tip: Good views over the City in the rooms on the higher floors.

An impressive and ultra modern hotel in a great position. As with other reviewers I found the room to be a good size (especially by London standards) and very comfortable. Front desk staff extremely helpful and efficient. The hotel is in a good position with both Aldgates and Tower Hill stations only 5 mins away but with plenty to do in the immediate vicinity (St Katherines Dock, Butlers Wharf, The Tower etc). The only negative would be the cost of breakfast - although this is normal for London. My advice would be stay here and use the Wetherspoons next door for a good value and hearty breakfast!

Brand new and kitted out to a high standard. Staff helpful.
Breakfast rather uninspiring but apart from that good.
