I stayed in the Grange Tower Bridge for the first time with my wife on a trip to London to take in some shows.

It's modern, smart, well appointed hotel with very good rooms and attractive public areas. Courteous staff.

We stayed there on a special deal so I can't comment on their normal rates but our deal was very good value for money. Free wi-fi too which was very welcome and not common enough in quality hotels.

I'd very happily stay there again.

This is a really good modern hotel. The only hotel I've been in where there are top of the range Samsung TV's in the rooms. The bathrooms are a replica of other newish Grange Hotels and are faultless. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms are great.

The rates are very good value. I paid £99 for a room on a monday. About the same price as the Premier Inn opposite but in a different league!

Lovely hotel in a good location close to Tower Bridge.
Large room with lovely big bed.
Room was really reasonably priced and worth every penny.
Close to some really nice restaurants.
The power shower in the bathroom was excellent.
Concierge extremely helpful (we forgot our tooth brushes)
Bar prices aren't cheap but your in London so to be expected.
A great wknd stay

Was overall pleased with this hotel when we stayed- beautiful building, modern, extremely clean. The room was spacious and spotless. Corridors were quiet. Didn't have to wait a long time for the lift. Toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch. The spa was incredible, one of the best hotel spas I've been in- was very quiet, clean, brand new and had everything you need- gym, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and big changing rooms.

However, what I feel really lets this hotel down is the service. The staff in my opinion (and spoke to a group of girls over breakfast who felt the same) were just not bothered at all. During breakfast, we waited a good 25 mins for anybody to offer us tea or coffee and then it was only because the table next to us had gone over and asked somebody because they were sick of waiting. There was no apology, no niceties or politeness. The staff are just simply not up to the standard you'd expect from a 4* hotel and when you've been travelling all night for example, the service you receive really does make a huge difference and is crucial to whether or not you'd return.

Also, the reception and concierge staff definitely give off an air of laissez faire attitude. When they told us our room wasn't ready yet, there was no apology just the matter of fact statement and things like that definitely get my back up. It's as if they're doing you a favour giving you a key to the room you've paid £200 for! The concierge staff leave a lot to be desired too. They need a few lessons in customer service and I personally found them to be very stand offish and not very helpful. Have they never heard of the motto 'customer is always right!'?

Overall, was fine and would probably stay again although only if I knew they'd sorted out the service issues.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher room for amazing views of Tower Bridge (so I've heard!)

4 star hotel offering great rates the the moment. Rooms are as per other reviews and high quality. The staff are very friendly and want to help you. I do have to agree with some of the comments about the food however. The continental breakfast was poor quallity - buffet style and help yourself with the exception of toast and tea/coffee, which is served at table but slowly. We took the Wetherspoons option the following day which is next door.
The hotel is in a great location though - Spitalfields just round the corner for great restaurants.
Reference Tower Hill tube - use Aldgate instead as an option; 5 minute walk.
Would recommend.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel when he was in London for work.

It has recently been refurbished and is such a lovely hotel. Its really modern, and the rooms are very spacious and comforrtable. The bed we slept in was huge - a super king I presume. And it was very very comfy. The reception area is very luxurious and the staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly.

I would reccomend this hotel for business travellers and couples - I personally wouldn't want to take very young children here, as it seems very posh, but I'm sure they do cater for families.

Overall a lovely hotel, I'm sure anyone staying here won't be disapointed!!
