A very clean and bright hotel with attentive staff.
Rooms - very nicely decorated with great facilities. Free wifi which is always a bonus!

I often stay in the Grange St Paul and the Grange City which are both excellent hotels so I expected a lot from the Grange Tower Bridge. I was not disappointed.

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from Tower Hill tube station. It doesn’t have the most scenic outlook but that’s not the end of the world.

The hotel is modern and has a nice feel. The rooms are large and very comfortable and what you would expect from the chain of 5 star hotels.

The two stand out features of this hotel were the bathrooms which have a fantastic shower with body jets and a fairly large bath. Secondly the health club is really very nice.

The only slight downside was the continental breakfast which wasn’t that great but given that it was included in the room price so I guess you cannot complain too much.

All in very good indeed and I would recommend this hotel to anybody.

Stayed here for 2 night weekend break. The hotel is in a good location for us as we like to go out in the City area on a Friday night. Overall we had a good stay, didn't experience any noise in the hotel, great lesuire facilities, check in was quick and our room was up graded to the bigger Executive room. The room had a small but nice bathroom with bath and separate shower, big towels and ok toiletries. We had a safe in the room plus Iron/ironing board, flat screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. A few things stopped me giving it a 5 star rating; for this standard of hotel I feel that there should be a complimentary bottle of water in the room, there wasn't, the biscuits provided were cheap rather than cookies or similar received in other similar hotels. I had emailed the hotel twice regarding our reservation twice in the weeks leading up to our trip and didn't get a response. We had continental breakfast included which was all very nice and a lot of choice however (particulary on the Sunday morning) they kept running out of things and didn't seem to have a proper system in place to keep an eye on what needed replenishing - ie. glasses, crossoints, fruit... Waiters bring coffee round but it can get very difficult to get a top up, even when you go and ask them by the time they have picked up the jug to bring to your table 10 other people will have asked for top ups on the way and then they've run out!

My husband used the gym both mornings and said it was quiet and well equipped, I used the pool which by 8.30am both mornings was very busy but it was nice that it was a proper 25M pool that you could actually swim in.

Doormen/consierge were helpful and friendly.

We booked when the hotel had a 35% off sale which made it good value, I don't think we'd pay full price but would return if they had a similar offer on again.

Stayed 3 nights (Thurs £ 260 Fri £ 180 Sat £ 190) for a total inc. VAT of £750. The Saturday and Sunday morning continental breakfast was included. Surprisingly the Friday morning breakfast was not included despite the high cost of the Thursday night. Very modern, nicely lit energetic lobby. There was an event in progress when we arrived. Wanted to swim after a horrible days travel from Canada but told that kids could only use the pool at specific and restrictive times. I found this disappointing since this was not made clear on booking.. I posted a pic of the restrictions.. I also feel that the spa / pool facilities close way too early. Apart from that, the hotel and room were contemporary and very well maintained. Good lighting in the rooms. Fast elevators with glass doors make you feel like you're in the glass elevator in the Willy Wonka.. very cool. Newspapers every morning. Nicely designed rooms. Very good Air conditioning. Location was excellent. Walking distance to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Easy Access to Tower Hill Tube station. There is a Wetherspoons right next door and another pub called the Minories a 2 minute walk West which looked good. Apart from that... not much night life in that area. To sum up.. bit expensive especially in the 1st night / disappointing pool restrictions.. apart form that.. not bad

I first stayed here when it had been open a week, I was in London on business and have since been back 3 times through work and recently went to London to celebrate my 10 wedding anniversary and again chose to stay here.

Rooms are always clean and bathrooms have a bath and separate shower with body jets.

Staff have always been very attentive and taken my bags to my room for me.

Breakfast in the hotel is £15 for continental and £20 for full English which is average for a 4/5* in London but there is alternative places nearby if you don't want to pay that much.

On my last visit I even had time to go to the swimming pool and I wasn't disappointed, 25m swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam, sauna a gym and spa.

Location could be better but it's just a couple of minutes walk from tower hill tube station and if you walk over tower bridge at night there is a choice of bars and restaurants overlooking the Thames.

I for one will definately be returning.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and would go back again. September 2011 and March 2012.

The hotel is new and very luxurious but affordable. Rooms are comfy with big beds and modern technology- the large flat screen TV that you can plug your iPod into to and the air conditioning/ heating system. The bathrooms are large with a bath and a separate shower which has a drop shower head along with a normal shower head and 2 spray showers coming out at the back. You do not have to have everything on if you do not wish. There are 2 hairdryers in the room- one in the bathroom and one in the dressing table drawer- these are powerful so no need to take your own.

The spa is well worth a visit with a sauna and steam room. Also a nice pool, Jacuzzi, experience showers and sun loungers (although the pool is inside)

Both times we have been, we have asked for a room high up with a view, the first time we were on the lowest floor possible for bedrooms so no view and the second time, the lady at the desk checking us in guaranteed that our room had a view and that you could see tower bridge etc. This was on the 7th floor and you could see the top of all the other hotels and if you stood on your tip toes or on a chair you could see the top of tower bridge. Hopefully next time we will get a good view- third time lucky!

The Grange Tower Bridge hotel was clean, nicely decorated with efficient service- nothing to complain about really! Probably not the best location if you want somewhere happening on a Friday/Saturday night, but centrally located so easy to get about by tube- and a trip to the nearby borough market on a Saturday morning is a must
