I stayed at room no. 910 for a month. Superb room, luxuriously spacious, spotlessly clean and very silent for a comfortable night sleep on a fluffy bed replete with pillows galore. The bathroom is very nicely done too and the shower panel was the best part that came with three options of rain shower, hand shower and two separate jets; all can be obtained at one go if you wish. Totally loved it. There was a bath tub too which I did not use being alone.

The breakfast if included is fine (like company paid it for me) but I would suggest do not opt for it since it is very expensive at 15 or 20 Pound for continental or English breakfast respectively. You can get similar quality breakfast at weather spoon, opposite to the hotel at 6 pound (albeit not buffet). The buffet breakfast at the hotel is good though with a decent spread.

Location wise the hotel is well placed 3-5 mins away from tower gateway dlr and tower hill underground stations. It is also at a walking distance from aldgate and bricklane ( where you get many Bangladeshi joints, if you are looking for them. But not good mostly).

The reason for one star less than 5 is the terrible wifi connection in my room. There was hardly any connection and mostly intermittent, which had to be obtained walking around in the room to catch the signal. They should seriously do something about it, to make themselves at par with 5 stars, which it is in all aspects from pool to room to breakfast and that too at a pretty competitive price in London.

Recommended!

My wife and I had great few days at the hotel
Hotel was spacious and real high standard , we would defiantly stay again. The only thing what let them down was when we check in we were told that we had complementary breakfast . Next day we went down for breakfast for them to tell us they did not have us down on their list but told us not to worry and sit down for breakfast . We carried on with our breakfast ,five minutes later they came back to say we would have to pay for it which was not a problem but should of been sorted out before we were seated and had started our breakfast also after we had finished we could not be able to charge it to our room ,we had to pay as we left the breakfast room ,all this to us is not good PR.

We stayed here as a treat night for our anniversary. Check in was quick and efficient with Sebastian being extremely helpful but still at a good pace. We enjoyed afternoon tea which was lovely, the scones were just fantastic. I did miss the clotted cream but being a Devonshire girl I forget it's not so readily available everywhere. But that didn't ruin it for us, it was all so fresh and the champagne was also lovely. We didn't have time to use the facilities as we had a busy evening. But our room was immaculate and the bathroom was just amazing, an awesome shower and a good sized bath, huge basin and lovely tiles. The room itself was a great size, with smart tv, couch and huge windows. We couldn't fault our stay and found the hotel to be extremely clean. I'm sure we will return again in the future.

The location of the hotel is good for business travel. It has the right amenities and quality is excellent. The only reason for the 4 star is their breakfast choice is very minimal and average hotels serve better variety. May be its to keep the costs down.

Very good quality hotel. Excellent rooms and bathrooms, especially the shower. Ideal location for Tower of London &. Tower bridge, but a little far out for West End. Cost a fortune in taxis and tube. Weatherspoon right next door for top breakfast. Bit pricy unless you get a deal. Very good 25m pool and spa.

I stayed here with my girlfriend last month and thought it was great.
We paid around £110 for the night, which for a 5* in London is really good value!

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Tower Hill underground station, which you can get to without changing from Euston Square.

As with all the Grange chain, the hotel was very modern and well decorated, nice bar area - which serves food from the bar menu 24/7.
The room was nice, with a large comfortable bed, and thick quilted curtains to completely block all sunlight. We also had a comfortable sofa and large flat screen TV . The bathroom was really nice, with black and white high gloss tiles, and a power shower with massage settings.

We popped down to the underground pool before going out for the evening. Making use of the pool, steam room and sauna.

If you can get this hotel at a decent price I would definitely recommend it. Although having also stayed at the Grange - St Pauls, I would opt to stay there again given the choice.

The only good thing is the location. A 5-star hotel does not offer at the breakfast buffet water bottles filled with tap water - including bottles labelled as 'sparkling water'. We were offered coffee without telling us it incurred an additional charge, and were charged for it! Later I complained but I was dismissed saying 'that coffee is charged separately'. Later, from my room I asked for the Duty manager's and Director's email, and a minute later received a phone call from the Duty manager.... who insisted that speciality coffee incurred an additional charge. The man failed to understand the basic concept: if at breakfast one is offered a coffee and is not told there is an additional charge... one should not be charged for it! Pathetic. I will never recommend this establishment.
