Visited Friday 4th April.
It was a Lastminute.com secret stay hotel. Hotel was located in E1 postcode so Piccadilly etc 20 mins by tube.

Hotel not 5 star but definite 4.
Parking was no hastle at the very nearby Minories Car Park. Tower Hill underground was within a 5 min walk away.

Hotel modern clean and above average sizes for London.

To get to Trafalgar Square by tube you need to go from Tower Hill and get off at Monument. Walk a fair old way to Bank Station. This is a fair distance for some people I would guess.

However, hotel fine and good a value for London. Brilliant shower too!!!

Overall, recommended and one part of a fabulous weekend away with my gorgeous partner. Was quite impressed with how clean London seemed.

Stayed for a day; the hotel is near Tower Bridge(few minutes walk) in the City of London area; the metro stations of Aldgate or Tower Hill are minutes away so the location does not matter for a tourist; hotel is nice with very good service by friendly staff, big clean rooms and all the required facilities. I would recommend it

On our first visit to London we followed the travel writers advise and booked a hotel right in the centre of the tourist area of London. We picked the Grange and we're glad we did, in spite of it being right at the top of our budget.

The hotel is steps from the Tower of London and tower bridge plus access to many tourist services. You walk out the door and start your sightseeing. Our room had a view of the Tower of London and tower bridge.

Service from the staff and quality of the room were both excellent.

Hotel is beautiful and very professional from the moment you enter. The staff are very helpful and professional always seem happy to help at the front desk. Hotel room is good, big bed, nice bathroom, shower is amazing! Lovely views the higher the floor number!! Restaurant room is good and breakfast also good, lots and lots of choice and good value for money! The staff in the bad did come across a bit rude and like you were getting on there nerves even by asking for a drink! Other then that lovely hotel!!!! We have stayed here about 4 times within the last year and would defiantly return! Every visit is the same!! You know what you are getting!

I booked my partner and I one night stay at the Grange Tower Hotel for his birthday. I had mentioned it was his birthday on the booking and they kindly popped a cheescake in our room for the occasion. It was a very nice touch to our stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and informative and made us feel very welcome.

We stayed in a superior room and we found the room to be of a very high standard. Unfortunately I did find a couple of stray toenails around the bathtub that weren't mine or my partners having opted for showers instead. Other than the toemail incident, our stay was very pleasant and I'd happily book again.

me and my friend stayed at the the grange tower bridge this weekend 5th to the 7th. upon greeting very helpful guy help us with luguage and greeted us to reception. upon check in was asked for photo id eg driving licence photocopied also I destroyed paperwork ,when we check out. where asked if we rather leave open account for extras but we paid pay as you go for drinks cash. We booked room only basis as breakfast was £15 continental or full breakfast £20.00 in the hotel we went next door weatherspoons £4.29 full breakfast. premier inn outside option £9.00 full breakfast. We stuck with weatherspoons next door, also weatherspoons at tower hill 5 min walk. Tower hill tube station doesn't connection to tower gateway but hotel close 5 min walk. Spa was lovely bathrobes and slippers for spa ask at reception. Spa lovely pool a little cool lovely facilities. Room was excellent although there a lock on fridge unless you wana pay deposit for it to be unlocked we didn't bother. Hotel allows takeaway in room we asked reception for cutlery and plates no problem. We had nice view of the shard the beehive and tower bridge nice sized rooms all rooms are different ask for a room for a view if you like view if possible. Hotel going extra mile chocolate on pillow each night. Staff very helpful almost a five star. Taxi flagged down when leaving help with lugguage from greeter into car, taxi fare from hotel to Liverpool street station £7.40 metered. Very enjoyable stay but next time try out the city one at tower hill as right on tube station. Shower was amazing.

Room Tip: rooms on the south side looking at the tower bridge, chard and beehive. I also heard some rooms have...

Just returned from a weekend in this hotel and highly recommend it. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was excellent, we had the continental and it was lovely. The hotel is very clean, the rooms very comfortable and it has all you need for to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is situated very close to the tube and buses so we had no problems getting around London to see all the famous landmarks. Excellent.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 3rd floor and the room we had was absolutely fine.
