I stayed two nights laat week on a business trip to London. The hotels location was great for both Canary Wharf and the City. The room was an executive room which was spaces with two double beds. Room was reasonable well fitted out. Staff at breakfast where a bit unresponsive but nothing to complain about. Location however is the hotels best selling point for me. Would stay again.

Just a few minutes walk from the DLR and Tower Hill underground, this is a nice hotel, large rooms (although the beds are a bit hard) and is generally quiet at night. Staff at front desk are good, helpful and friendly. Around the area there are good eateries (Wetherspoons across the road, short walk to St Katherines dock for other nice restaurants. This is not a cheap hotel though - probably higher than average, but it is worth it.

Recently spent a weekend at Grange Tower Bridge and was most impressed. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was spotless. Only gripe was when I ordered two cocktails at £9.95 each the cost came to £21.89. Presumably a charge for pouring the drinks! Also did not venture into the restaurant for breakfast as this was £20 per head. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay

Booked this through 'secret hotels' at laterooms.com

Arrived at the hotel, right next to Towerhill tube station - to be told, that we were staying in a branch down the road...

So not as close as I thought, and the views were looking into a premier inn window.. so not of tower hill as described.

Room was spacious and clean. Shower was AMAZING, massive rainfall head and jets from the walls.

Bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in...amazing sleep!

Not much in the surrounding areas, a tesco express for emergencies.

Breakfast was £20 each, which I thought was expensive for food sitting on hot plates...

Evening meal was delicious though...

We chose this hotel for a three night stay based on a personal recommendation and are pleased we did. We had an excellent and very comfortable stay.

There was an issue with our room allocation on arrival and the receptionist, whilst not rude, was quite dismissive and off-hand and her attitude was very much "take it, or leave it". We had a chat to the guest relations lady who was lovely and very helpful. She offered us an alternative room which we were delighted to accept.

The hotel is of a good standard, our room was nicely furnished, well equipped, very clean and had a great view. Generally the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff were efficient and courteous. Although the hotel was obviously very busy there were no delays and we were immediately shown to a table.

The location is very good. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the cruise boats going up to Westminster.

We would recommend this hotel. We hope to return to London next year for a special anniversary – all being well we look forward to staying at the Grange Tower Bridge again.

By selling themselves as a 5* I think this hotel is inviting disappointment.
I got a reasonable deal via 3rd party, but it was still £150 without breakfast.
Pluses - the room was spacious, toiletries, linen and towels nice, doorman welcoming and helped with my case, great spa area
Minuses - no bottled water etc in room, really basic coffee and tea offerings, you have to call down for a bathrobe etc. Reception staff were not welcoming at all and I was told there 'were no rooms open on the higher floors', in fact the whole reception area lacks ambience which is why I did not try the bar area. Pricey for e.g bottle of villa maria was about £28
There was more atmosphere in the weatherspoons which cleverly also had villa maria stocked at £14.
I was expecting some 5* service and attention to detail which was sadly lacking - maybe if they had billed themselves as 4* none of the above would be a concern.

We do not close off floors, however I regret that there were no rooms on higher floors available at the time of your arrival at the hotel. We hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Came here with my boyfriend and everything was fine until we asked to stay one more night and they said no - they have no rooms. He told them where he worked and suddenly they magically found a room for us. very sly. Anyway, drinks at the bar were expensive especially when threes weatherspoons right outside! (please go there instead - save your money) Swimming was nice, and the Jacuzzi is to die for. But to be honest i didnt feel very welcomed and cared for AT ALL. they dont care about their customers or make you feel at home.

Room Tip: Phone up if you want a higher level (you will).
