This cafe is an unusual combination of 'shabby chic' and spotlessly clean.
The food is great. The best bacon sandwich you'll ever taste and it's free range too.
The only downside is that you get middle class parents talking very loudly and educationally to their children, but if you go in the week, you can avoid that.
Unfortunately, they have blocked a large part of one window with shelves of food for sale. This is a shame as it loses a lot of natural light and electric lights have to be kept on all the time - not very eco-friendly in that respect. And also gloomier than it needs to be.
However, I do love this cafe and am a regular visitor.
