When we went on a walking tour around Soho, our tour guide only had one recommendation when asked where to go for afternoon tea, and this place was it. You actually have to walk into a pub on the first floor called "Coach & Horses" and then ask to be let into the tea room. It is the cutest little place and all the pastries and jams are made in-house. You can go and have afternoon tea (which is what we did) or you can ask for a full menu and actually have lunch up there. I loved the atmosphere, the service, and the tea/pastries we ordered. If you are looking for the highly-stereotyped afternoon tea experience in England then this is your place.

A nice surprise when my daughter took me to this pub in Soho, but in fact it was an upstairs old time tea room. Very good service, nice tea cups and pots all different and from different periods. Next time I will try the Champagne tea.

I lived that it's a bit secrete, that you have to be shown up to the café. The decor and ambiance is lovely. We hade afternoon tea and it's a lot you get...maybe more quantity over quality an width...But it was tasty and serve don odd china and lovely Cake stands. Even if it is not the best afternoon tea i have ever had, it's definitely the cutest and most homely place i have been to.
