Very clean, excellent location, excellent breakfast included, free coffee in lounge, free wifi everywhere. Well-equipped but extremely small room - without the lounge to sit in we would have felt cooped up. One minor gripe was that the lounge was locked as early as 10pm. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: Don't choose room 1 if you are claustrophobic - it's in the basement and not large

We stayed at the Arosfa in January 2013. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends. The hotel was reasonably centrally located. If you need to get somewhere and walking isn’t practical, there are buses and taxis everywhere and if you need or want to go anywhere by tube, once you get to a tube station, the tubes work like clock work. Ralph and Alison who manage the hotel were always friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were better than any other hotels that we stayed at on our trip (Venice, France and London). The price was very reasonable and our room was fine.

Room Tip: We advised the hotel what we wanted and that is what we got.

We had a lovely stay in a sweet hotel in a great location very near covent garden. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was cute and clean. It was very very small so if you need space this is not the place for you however it was fine for us and we were only staying one night. Breakfast was nice but a bit odd as there was a real mis mash of things that did not always go. Overall I would stay again:) x

An excellent place to stay. The rooms are a bit small, but for one person its ok. Although there was no elevator, the staff was helpful and helped with the luggage. The breakfast is excellent. This is an extremely well maintained hotel!

My boyfriend and I stayed in room 16 for two nights on a stop-over in London. It was perfect. Yes. The rooms are very small and there is no lift but if you are comfortable with that, as we were, it is an excellent place to stay. The room was spotless and the hosts are incredibly friendly. The location is FANTASTIC. Our room was on the "noisy side" but we slept with the windows open and it was quieter than our city home in Vancouver. Great value. Feel confident booking here.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Arosfa Hotel is a refurbished 200-year old Georgian Town House in the heart of historic Bloomsbury district, the former home of the famous Pre-Raphaelite artist Sir John Everett Millais. The cool white garden squares and wide streets of Bloomsbury have been a pull to thinkers for centuries, and it sometimes seems like every second house has a blue plaque denoting that a great writer, scientist or philosopher once inhabited the building. It was in Bloomsbury that Karl Marx created communism, Virginia Woolf defined the twentieth century British novel, and Charles Darwin first conceived the theory of natural selection. The imposing bulk of the British Museum, home to seven millennia of human art and artefacts, dominates the area, and there are plenty of other academic institutions including Birkbeck College, the beautiful University of London Library, and RADA, London's grandest drama school. ... more   less
