Excellent Hotel in London: clean, simple, very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing, the staff is very gently, everything in the hotel is simple but excellent. The only drawback, a little one, is that our room did not have a little fridge. 100% recommendable!!!

When I say small, I mean minuscule. Our rooms was anyway. We had a twin room at the front of the building. However, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, allowing us to sit in the lounge with free tea and coffee later in the day after we'd checked out. The interior is beautifully decorated with modern features and nice furniture. Breakfast is simple but there's plenty to choose from. It's a great location close to King's Cross, Euston, and St. Pancras stations in the heart of London.

Our stay at Arosfa made for a perfect visit to London. Allison and Ralph helped this hotel seem like home away from home when we visited May 25th through the 28th, 2014. My husband, our daughters and my brother made this a party of 5. And all of us found the hotel comfortable, clean, ideally located and the brunch was just terrific.
Already hoping for another visit.

Excellent ...what more can i say! So welcoming and friendly. There were 5 of us and we had 2 rooms...one was a small twin but it was very clean and had everything that was needed and the other was a spacious family room, again very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was faultless...so much choice! There is a relaxing lounge where you can help yourself to hot drinks and also a lovely garden out the back. Excellent location for Euston train station and attractions. Super pub around the corner serving good food. We would definitely stay here again.

The Arosfa is certainly worth considering if you are looking for budget (at least by London terms) accommodations in a pleasant neighborhood close to the British Museum, the theatre district, and transport links to Heathrow, National Rail, and Eurostar. Rooms are tiny (and bathrooms tinier: portapotty comes to mind) and can be hot in summer. Lots of stairs. But it is a clean and friendly place to sleep, there is a ground floor lounge with ice water and lemonade, the garden in back is nice and shady, and breakfast is good and plentiful with choice of Continental or English. Friendly staff. We had wanted to stay at a couple other hotels on the same street, but they were full: the Arosfa wasn't quite as nice, but filled our needs.

Room Tip: Street side can be noisy

We chose this hotel as our first stay and then moved to the next one which is closed to Paddington. now we feel that this was a wrong decision. We shouldn keep on staying this hotel. The people of here are so friendly. We arrived in London very late into the night. They acknoledge me the closing time of the hotel in advance and sent me a detail instruction on how to open the gate. i would say this hotel is excellent and i would choose them next time.

Room Tip: i did not see the swimming pool. maybe i did not notice

As a group of friends we chose this hotel for location near to Euston station and to visit the theatre. The decor is lovely with a large lounge if you want to relax with water and hot drinks if you want them. We had a large family room and a twin room. Although the twin was small it was fine for our one night visit. Tea/coffee in rooms and toiletries.Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The main plus for us staying here was the friendliness of the owners Ralph and his wife. They make you feel so welcome you just dont want to leave. Us Golden Girls will be back Ralph!.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Arosfa Hotel is a refurbished 200-year old Georgian Town House in the heart of historic Bloomsbury district, the former home of the famous Pre-Raphaelite artist Sir John Everett Millais. The cool white garden squares and wide streets of Bloomsbury have been a pull to thinkers for centuries, and it sometimes seems like every second house has a blue plaque denoting that a great writer, scientist or philosopher once inhabited the building. It was in Bloomsbury that Karl Marx created communism, Virginia Woolf defined the twentieth century British novel, and Charles Darwin first conceived the theory of natural selection. The imposing bulk of the British Museum, home to seven millennia of human art and artefacts, dominates the area, and there are plenty of other academic institutions including Birkbeck College, the beautiful University of London Library, and RADA, London's grandest drama school. ... more   less
