Stayed here with four children and we were not disappointed. In total only spent sleeping hours in our trailer,as out and about in London.
Had reviews of poor cleanliness, but we found it to be perfectly adequate.Very small pitches, however served the purpose well.Staff were friendly and as helpful as you could wish.
Would use again!!!!

Late arrival was no problem to the wardens, first class service (did keep them informed en route). Site is well connected transport wise to central London. Booking essential for peak times, it gets very full. We took grandchildren. Park adjacent is good.

I have just returned from my stay here, we had a Motorhome and 5 family members stay. The site was nice clean and very well presented. This site was a nice 'getaway' from the surrounding area.

The majority of pitches are on gravel as I am assuming they are all year pitches. Toilet and shower block were 'ok' needed a little updating to be honest. But apart from that it was well worth the money and in a central location to shops, trains etc...

I would say - Be vigilent going around the surrounding area, especially at night as there were signs saying people will attack you for your phone etc etc..

Room Tip: A few grass pitches, most gravel therefore bring comfy groundsheets if you intend to have a tent/car...

We have just travelled back after visiting this site for the 2nd time. The wardens are extremely friendly and helpful. The park is situated in a corner of the crystal palace park, a beautiful peaceful corner of London. The number 3 bus takes you into central London but with the starts and stops can take up to an hour. You can cut across the park which will take around 15 mins and you can catch the train into clapham junction. The pitches are a good size, the facilities spotless and an excellent location. My only criticism would be that it would be nice if there was an on site shop selling basics like milk and bread, but there's a garage shop only 5 minutes away. Will definiterly be returning.

We stayed here during the weekend of the Chinese New Year. The campsite is well laid out and the staff in reception were very friendly. It is situated under the huge Crystal Palace transmitter which we didn't mind but it might bother others. We used the No.3 bus on one day to get into London and it stops near Big Ben which took about 40 minutes and to be honest it was far easier and more comfortable getting on the train, but if you don't mind the bus, then the route is ok. We went to Borough market and that was great as the train took you virtually to the doorstep. Would definitely go back and the area seems quite safe.

Room Tip: When trying to locate the campsite, look out for the transmitter and its virtually underneath. Get...

We stayed here in our large motorhome for five nights during the last days of the Olympics. The camp was busy, but we found the pitches spacious and level, and the bathroom and laundry facilities were spotless. We used the train to get around but there is also a good bus service close by. There are two train stations nearby, Crystal Palace station is a pleasant 10 minute walk through the Park, and the Sydenham Hill station is about the same distance away in the other direction (downhill on the way there but a hard slog up the hill on the way back!). We found the staff very helpful when we wanted information. Will stay here again.

Lovely clean site, easy walk to local shops and many trendy restaurants and bars with a great choice of food. Walk to Crystal Palace station down the hill and buy a One Day travel card for £7 and use this all day to discover all of the sights in the Capital, this includes overground train/underground and bus's, only 20 minutes by train to London Victoria. Very busy site, lots of friendly caravaners from all over Europe.
Very unfriendly assistant male warden, who made us (two women) feel uncomfortable. SHAME.
Also, coming from Crystal Palace site not very well sign posted, as you go past the Shell Garage its just on the right hand side, behind a large hedge.
Very friendly squirels sat on the caravan step waiting for nuts.
Beware coming past the Whitgift Centre as the satnav tells you to enter the multi-storey car park.
Which would NOT have been fun.
Traffic a bit mad
Enjoy

Room Tip: A Very Busy site, grass and hardstanding
