It's the seventh time I come to Alhambra Hotel. This hotel is very close to the eurostar station, the underground, and at about 15 minutes of Tower Bridge. Rooms are always very clean and the staff very kind and lovely. What about the breakfast ? Well, you can begin by English breakfast, and if you're still hungry you can get some more toasts and tea, and cereals, and porridge.... so that you really can spend the day without a real lunch. I once tried another hotel a little bit cheaper but it was not so clean and the furniture was old, and the breakfast was not inclued in the price of the room. I think I'll be back in London in about 6 months, and I'll soon book my room at Alhambra's. I dont' feel like looking for another, really.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter but it's more difficult to climb the stairs if you've got big lugg...

We stayed in a twin room for 6 nights and were very happy. Of course the room was smallish but it clearly had been recently renovated ..... the bathroom looked new. We were on the street side on the second floor and despite sleeping with the windows open a little it was pretty quiet. The breakfast was to our liking with traditional or vego English Breakfast or continental. The service at breakfast was fast, efficient and friendly. The location was great for public transport .... both the tube and buses. It was great to get off the Eurostar at St Pancreas and only have to cross the road to the hotel. We walked to all the sites from the hotel ..... down to the Thames, to the Old Bailey, along the canal to Camden Market etc. We highly recommend the Alhambra ... a family business.

Room Tip: See comments about our second floor street side room. I expect that noon street side rooms would be...

A great location next to Kings Cross station. We stayed in a quiet double ensuite room on the 3rd floor at the back of the building. The double bed seemed small as was the room and bathroom but we had a comfortable stay and a lovely breakfast on the following morning. It was warm and you can open the window if you wanted some ventilation. Every area of this hotel was immaculately clean which is one of the reasons I picked this hotel. If you have difficulties with stairs then you may be better booking well in advance and requesting a ground floor room as there are no lifts. Be aware that access to the breakfast room involves a steep-ish staircase descent. Also, if mobility is an issue then you might do well to ask the desk staff (who are super friendly and efficient) to recommend a room they know to have more space. Great value for money at £106

Stayed one night and chose the hotel as we had to travel the Eurostar to Paris the next day. There were 3 of us and the only room big enough was in the basement. It was still small considering our luggage, and hard it carry the bags up and down. Wifi was okay. Breakfast was good. Apart from the room my other problem was storing our luggage before we left for Paris. The hotel promised it could store our bags during the day, but instead told us we could store it in the unlocked breakfast room. The meant carrying three big suitcases upstairs from our room, take it across the street to the main building, and downstairs to an unsecure room. Instead we took our bags to kings cross and paid for them to be stored in a secure room. Very disappointing.

Dear Guest. Thank you for the recent feedback on TripAdvisor. We take all comments seriously. We apologise about the luggage situation you have experienced but unfortunately we ask guests, when checking-out , to leave it in the Breakfast Room so they are not mixed up with the check-in luggage at the reception.
Also and unfortunately rooms are generally small in most London hotels but we offer, as a family business for over 40 years , a GREAT LOCATION, DECENT BREAKFAST AND A QUALITY SERVICE.
Again my sincere apologies.

Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable, the staff is nice, helpfull. They answered every question; The room was in a quite place of the hotel as I requested when I booked the room. it was very clean. Breakfast was good and we had enough of food. The hotel is next to the station of Saint Pancras. Different places to eat around the hotel, a pharmacy, a post office. The location is perfect.

Room Tip: When you book a room, you can ask for a quite one. And I also asked for a hair dryer.

The Hotel was small as usual in London but it was very nice and clean. The breakfast room was very busy and therefore could be bigger other than that everything was perfect and the service was really nice.
