Who knew that right next to Chelsea Football Club there would be this small hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff who took our multiple reservation changes in their stride. Good one La Reserve!

Stayed here overnight on 28th May. Small mix up with the rooms but easily sorted. Great location for Chelsea FC and Fulham FC. Fulham Broadway tube station 200 yards from the hotel and close to pubs and eating places. Room was large and clean, shower done the job although quite low for my large frame. Breakfast was continental and there was an abundance of fresh cut loaf, cereal fruit yogurt, tea and coffee. A full English was £6.99 and worth the money. A decent base to see London without being in the centre and away from the hustle bustle and noise. I had a room at the side and was very quiet. There is some noise from other guests but nothing to annoy me. My only complaint was the pipe chase for the room above was attached to my room wall and every flush of the toilet could be heard in the middle of the night. I was tired and slept well. Very affordable and I doubt you would get better for the price in the city.

Ideal location for an overnight stay for the football but that is all. Ask for a top floor room as it sounded like a heard of elephants tramping round above us at all hours so got virtually no sleep due to the creaking floorboards! That and the hoover cleaning rooms at 7.30am didn't bode well for much sleep at all in fact! We paid for our room in advance online beforehand but got a phone call from reception the day before saying that it hadn't gone through and they needed the security number off the back of our debit card which I gave them. On arrival they then requested my debit card saying it was for security and I had to put it through their machine once again to which I explained we had already paid. The receptionist argued that it wouldn't actually come out of the bank account again as was just a security measure to which I gave her the benefit of the doubt. On getting home I checked my account and saw they had in fact taken it out twice and promptly phoned them to be told it only showed once on their system. I contacted my bank and they said it had been charged twice and they opened up a dispute and luckily I got refunded the extra charge today. Not happy at having to do this and very reluctant to book with them again in the future and I would advise anyone to be very carful also.

Room Tip: Book a top floor room

Stayed here with friends both rooms at front of building .friends room was bad mini bar door hanging off table supported and levelled with paper definitely needs a paint the walls were dirty and shower pointless! My room on second floor was cleaner however this place needs a deep clean. Bed was comfy and the lady on reception very welcoming. Just a pity about the state of rooms as location is wonderful. Never took them up in breakfast as the cleanliness of hotel put us off.

Stayed here while visiting for London Book Fair at Earls Court. Nice clean and compact property, Underground station is about 5 minutes walk and Earls Court was a quick 15 minute stroll from here. If you walk to the Earls Court, walk through the Cemetery. And if you are a Chelsea fan, the hotel is right next to the Chelsea stadium. We happened to be there on a match eve and the hotel bar was taken over by the Chelsea fans.

Plenty of places to eat & drink nearby Indian, Taiwanese. Didn't try their complementary offer of a drink with a meal but the breakfast was quick and practical.

If you forget to take an electric converter plug, just grab one from the reception for a refundable 5 pound deposit. Found their internet plan to be fairly steep, so if you are a heavy user, might as well have an alternate arrangement.

All in all it was value for money with GBP 65 a night for a week in London.

Room Tip: I was at the ground floor with a room facing the road but didn't have any issue except on the ni...

Nice little hotel in Central London, convenient for Tube on Central Line and at a great price for the location. Rooms are a bit shabby, staff can be a bit flaky, but location directly in front of Chelsea FC is great.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location - really close to Fulham Broadway station.

From here on its a matter of accepting that its just a sleeping bag. Rooms are old and rather worn off. Bathrooms are even worse - signs of overflowing bathtubes on the nearby wooden doorframes, mold all over the place and broken tiles. The shower head was surely older them me and was attached high up without the posibility to be moved, which made washing of the whole body rather challenging.

Hairdrier was not working in one of the rooms and completely missing in the other.

No free wifi, and don't bother paying to get some either - in the highly unlikely event of actually getting on, the connection was really unstable and slow - did not load a single picture during the whole stay.

Restaurant was not something to brag about either. Showing up at the start of breakfast interval (7-10am) calls for 30 min. wait. Showing up for a dinner, seemed to surprise the staff. Waiter definitely had to be called in; waiting time of about an hour. Dinner arrived before the starters. Starters, as well as one of the dishes were simplified version of what was described in the menu.
To be fair - the food did taste good.

The hotel is close to a hospital - lots of screaming ambulances. Again, to be fair, the windows are well noise-insulated, so its just a matter of living without fresh air.

Bottom line: if you can, choose another hotel.
