Excelente location , near Westminster and London eye. Two minutes by walkman to Waterloo station años Southbank. The best of the room is the superconfortable bed and silence . You have to pay wifi in your room, only have 30 minutes free.

We began our trip from LHR to train to Salisbury( prior review), to Portsmouth ( prior review) and then on to London to see the sights with our two grandchildren.

We researched the internet, spoke with others who traveled with children and because of the attractions we wanted to see with the grand children and decided to stay at the Premier Inn London County Hall, which is in the same building as the Marriott. It is situated in a great area to see Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, The London Eye and Dungeon, the Cabinet War Rooms, Buckingham Palace, the shows in Covent Garden area, Westminster Abbey, family friendly restaurants, and Thames River Cruises as both Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridges, train and tube stations are so close.

The staff were great, the check in and out was seamless as it is done on the internet, the breakfasts were good and good value, and the beds were excellent. While there are no river views we were never in the rooms long enough to worry about it as there is so much to see in London and never enough time to see everything you plan to see.

The rooms are not large but they are comfortable and very clean. As Americans we probably travel with too much luggage and more shelf or drawer space could be better but it was adequate.

There is a taxi queue just outside the building if one needs a taxi.

There was room nose , depending upon where on stayed as we had none until we were up whereas out granddaughter had noise that required her to close the windows.

There is no A/C so in hot months they give you a fan but iof you are used to a/c it might be too hot in the hot months.

The staff were very helpful and saved us money with some of their suggestions such as taking a taxi ( for 5 ) to LHR instead of using the HEX which was just as quick, saved a transfer to Paddington Station and was a direct drop at Terminal 5 at Heathrow.

The downside was the crowds in London were unbelievable but not the hotel's fault.

A walk down the South bank and the embankment is close and one could walk to the Covent Garden area to watch a show or pick a restaurant.

The hotel was a very good choice for us with children and many families also agreed as there were many families eating the wonderful breakfasts they offered each morning. I would recommend the breakfast package they offer as I did not and now wished I had done so.

We recommend this hotel to anyone for this area.

Room Tip: This hotel is very close to the London Eye and Dungeon and there are crowds by the Eye, the Festival...

Great location and very comfortable stay. The staff were very helpful and the rooms very clean. Would have been good to have air conditioning in the room as when we stayed it was very hot and muggy and we could only open the window a few inches due to security reasons as we were on the 6th floor.

Great location just round the corner from Westminster Bridge, the Queen's Walk and the London Eye and across the river from Parliament and Big Ben. A few restaurants are right across the street. Rooms were simple but clean; no view to speak of. Bathrooms are ensuite and towels fluffy and plenty large. Note for US travelers: bring a facecloth as none are provided. Bath soap/shampoo is dispensed from a receptacle on the wall. Rooms were quiet and there is plenty of staff to help with the kiosk check-in process, greet you coming or going, and assist with questions. Wifi is not free and has restrictions even when paid for( only 2 devices may connect ever). Breakfast is an additional charge (£9.99) and includes both typical 'full English breakfast' items plus cold continental items, with no variation from day to day. We stayed 5 nights.

Room Tip: Summer of 2014 is seeing refurbishment of outside; recommend choosing a room on side away from scaff...
