This is an old establishment. We stayed for four nights at the beginning of July 2014. The rooms are plain, no fridge, telephone and very limited hanging space. That said, they are quite large by London standards. All of the in room safes were U/S (the manufacturer went out of business and Premier couldn't get replacement batteries). That said, they happily had secure envelopes at reception where you could store your valuables. One of the vending machines was out of order for a few days but it was not an issue with us. It is not a place for the disabled as you have to use steps to get into the reception area. Don't bring heavy luggage.
The staff were extremely helpful. I honestly don't know where they get these people. Nothing was too much trouble. The combined breakfast/dinner option was good value.
Now I will talk about location. It is right next to the London Eye and the Thames. Walk across the bridges and you get to Parliament House and West End shows. We will be staying there again next trip from Perth, Western Australia.

Room Tip: The exterior of the building is being renovated and has scaffolding outside the rooms at the front o...

perfect location, brilliant comfort and great value for money, staff very friendly, highly recommended we even got access to our room earlier than the check in time which was very helpful, would suggest to book car parking elsewhere prior to arrival.

This is our second stay at this hotel, its good value as ever, clean and comfy. But this time we stayed in the middle of Summer and it was too warm at night. The hotel kindly provided us with 2 fans, but they make noise, making it not so good to sleep but also they just blow hot air around. So on one of the nights our room said it was 29 degrees inside. Which mean a 3 night stay with very little sleep unfortunately.
would always stay at this hotel again, preferably in the winter or autumn as we have done in the past. Its location is great for Westminster and other sites, the theatre, and love walking along the south embankment. Also plenty of bars, coffee places and restaurants close by. We chose not to eat at the hotel as it was very busy, because of the school summer holidays but there are plenty of other options to have breakfast lunch & dinner out.

Room Tip: if you want airconditioning in the room, they don't have it in the summer.

Couldn't better the service provided by staff. Listed building so no airconditioning, fans do help. Tell staff if you have trouble walking, some rooms are a long way from lifts. Breakfast particularly good and meal deal is worth considering.

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights while traveling through Europe in July 2014. The hotel is in a great location, close to stations, restaurants and tourist attractions.

The hotel is directly across the road from Waterloo station and a short walk from Westminster Station, both are very handy when traveling on the metro.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is a fantastic full English buffet.

The only downfall was that there was no air conditioning in the room and it was sometimes hot when you didn't have the portable fan on.

Otherwise, a great hotel and a good stay for 4 nights. Thank you again

Location is the reason for is hotel to stay in.... If you are a solo/couples back pack travelers... Then it is a good option.... But if you have children, then look elsewhere. It is on a self service format and at times it is not convenient. The hotel self service machines were not working when we arrived and even the dispensing machines were out of order, the safe deposit boxes were out of order just to name the few out of order items.

Eventually, we felt that since it's just a short stay, we can live with these out of order items. There were couple of restaurants right across the hotel so we did not bother much with hotel diner.

There was construction going on and hence, the taxi could not approach the hotel and we were dropped off good 100 meters away from the hotel and we dragged our luggage and kids to the hotel after a long 11 hours of travel.

The room did not have an air con so, the provided fan struggled to keep us fresh... The room smelled of smoke while it is a non smoking property. Nothing about this hotel was exciting except that the location is just beneath the London eye and sone of staff were helpful.

Avoid if you are traveling with children and if you can afford a better brand... Pls go for that. The family room was tiny for a family with 2 kids... And it was crammed with the additional beds.
