If you've stayed at one Premier Inn, you've seen them all. Great value, solid price, young, charming, energetic staff.

Got the Quad room for the wife and two kids. You can see in the pictures that it's a huge bed, with a couch/bed, and a mattress on the floor. Because the room is so big (by European hotel standards), things felt very spacious and comfortable.

Bathroom was also big and spacious - with a towel warmer.

Television had ten channels, plus radio. Internet was 9 pounds for 24 hours, or 5 pounds for 60 minutes (non-consecutive). "Business-class internet" was extra.

Restaurant and bar inside. Breakfast was excellent.

Plenty of take-away restaurants in walking distance - a deli, bagel shop, Chinese noodles, Starbucks, a Slug & Lettuce. Saw signs for Subway and Yo Sushi, but never did find them.

The location is AMAZING. Jubilee Gardens is next door, which is a great grassy area for stretching out and relaxing by the Thames under the shadow of the London Eye. There's a great playground for small children there.

TIP - If you have small children who are struggling with jetlag and insist on getting up early in the morning, GET UP and take them walking along the Thames. Before 6am, you will have the entire Queens Walk to yourself - just you and the pigeons.

The only minor notes if you have small children - the front entrance is up a set of stairs, so if you have a stroller/buggy, you're gonna be carrying it up the steps. Also, there's an ice cream machine across from the elevators - be prepared to tell your kids, "NO ICE CREAM" every time you go up to your room. :)

This Premier Inn is located right next to the London Eye and 10 mins walk from Leicester Sq. Waterloo Tube is 5 mins walk. Starbuck's is opposite the hotel and McD's also nearby.
Check-in is automated but staff are on hand to make sure it runs smoothly and every single member of staff we met was really friendly and wiling to help. Check-out v speedy and friendly also.
Room was newly fitted out and spotless - LCD TV with Freeview. Blackout curtains, double-glazing and air-con/heating ensured had best night's sleep in a v long time!
Couldn't recommend highly enough!

The hotel is centrally located and thus convenient for sightseeing around London. It's located within easy walking distance of two tube stops, one of them also being one of London's train stations. The location right on the Thames and right next door to the London Eye might make the area a bit too touristy for some tastes, but we enjoyed that aspect. The other major plus for this hotel was the fact that the front desk was staffed 24 hours a day.

Parts of the hotel were under construction during our stay and thus one of the three lifts was reserved for that purpose. Thus, the wait times at the elevators at certain times of the day were excessively long. The stairs could have been an option (even though our room was on the sixth floor) had one of the staff members actually bothered to show us where the proper stairwell was. So, there were long waits in the lobby going up and long waits on our floor going down. This lasted the entire eight days of our stay and got to be a bit annoying toward the end. We had other issues as well. Our sink stopper was caught in the closed position when we checked in, making the basin unusable. It took them a couple of days to get it fixed for us
