“Good location, poor rooms”
Reviewed 17 July 2013 via mobile

The hotel is very clean and run by friendly staff, but our room was on the top floor, too small, bed too small, over priced for what it is.
Breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast i have had, seemed as if it all came out of a tin.
Will definately not use again.

Stayed one night in £120 double room with breakfast. Was given my key by receptionist/office person who left me to find my own way to the room. Room was OK - clean but a bit small with very dated soft furnishings. Main problem was it was all a bit noisy - from the plumbing to people outside to creaky floorboards. Curtains were completely inadequate in keeping out the morning sun. Breakfast was adequate though no decaff coffee that i could see and a limited choice of cereals.
So not bad but have had better for the price.

The rooms are simple and outdated, but clean. I was initially a bit dismayed that our room was in the basement, but it proved to be fine, except for the Wifi connection. However, the main floor lounge sofas were comfortable for accessing the internet. The full English breakfast was hearty and pretty good, and there was plenty of cereal and yogurt and toast if you tired of the cooked breakfast. For a family of four in an expensive city, we appreciated the value of our room with double bed plus 3 twins. If we returned to London anytime soon, I would probably try and fail to find accomodations with nicer rooms for the same price with breakfast included.

We were 4 "older" ladies traveling through Europe on a backpackers budget. The Euro Hotel was more than we expected and it came at the same price than a quad room at a popular backpackers hostel in London. The staff was friendly, helpful and the room was clean and nice. We stayed for 2 nights and could not ask for more. The breakfast was delicious, both continental and full English breakfast was available, inclusive in the price. Will definitively stay there again and will recommend it to anyone that wants to stay in a beautiful part of London, close to public transport and near popular sights.

The Euro hotel is very convenient if you travel by Euro Star. It is a 10 min walk and off the main road. The hotel has 3 floors and is in a quiet terrace building with look on a park and tennis court. You feel like in a small english town not at all as in a big city like London. The tube stations Euston station and St Pancras are both 10 min away.
The hotel is more like a big B&B. A bit dated and crooked rooms, but very clean, light and calm. Nice bathroom, tea & coffee facilities, flat screen, good bed.
The full english breakfast is included in the price and very good. All in all I would certainly come back if I travel by train.

Room Tip: No lift, so if you have heavy cases ask for a lower floor.

We picked the Euro Hotel because of its proximity to St Pancras station and the Eurostar. A pleasant hotel with friendly and helpful staff and our room with ensuite, although small, was clean and comfortable. We stayed for one night on 15 May and the hotel is very suitable for a short stay.

At £100 a night in Bloomsbury one cannot expect luxury. This is a good hotel and we had a comfortable stay. The furnishings and carpets could do with being replaced and the hotel with being freshly decorated. Having said that the bathroom was clean, though no heating in it, and the breakfast was OK. The cold tap ran hot water and when I mentioned this was told that it was an old hotel and to let the water run for a while.

In future I would stay with one of the chains, Thistle, Mercure etc,. for a better quality of hotel. The service was good. Having said all that we spend a comfortable 3 days.

Room Tip: A good basic hotel but no luxury. The hotel is set in a nice quiet crescent just off the Euston Roa...
