Camden is probably the best area for young, trendy people to party and have fun. The streets are lined with pubs and places to eat, it's hard to choose. St. Christopher's is part pub/part hostel. The food was great and prices are that typical to most London pubs. I ate at the hostel twice and the food was great! Walking distance to tube and bus stop (5-10 min walk) Camden Lock Market is a 10 mins walk as well.
The rooms are not that nice though. No indiviual lights so if you need to wake up early/come back late you have to turn on the whole room light which sucks for everyone else. Each bed also does not have a power source so you have to share. Wifi in the room was not great either. Room was COLD and felt like there was no heat. Bathrooms were small and needed a full size mirror as getting ready was difficult with one bathroom and 8 people.
Staff was rude at times but friendly. Young staff so dont expect the red carpet. They gave us really helpful directions more than once so it worked out.
I would stay again in the furthur because of the location.
