Our stay at Mabledon Court was just a pit stop on the way to Europe - but a really pleasant surprise, being a neat and well laid out little room, friendly and helpful staff, a good breakfast, and as we'd hoped ideally located between Euston and St. Pancras. We would definitely use Mabledon again, not just for an over night but also for longer stays to explore London. As it was it made for an excellent, worry-free start to our jaunt to Paris.

I stayed in this hotel in june 2012. Very basic hotel with small rooms, but kind staff. The complementary ‘full English breakfast’ was fine, but continental breakfast would have been OK as well. The price is rather low, and therefore you will get ‘value for money’. The overall quality however, is poor.

The lift was an amazing 1930's model with huge metal gates and wood panelling, very Poirot.
The room was tiny as we had expected, the double bed against a wall was a drag. The furnishings were worn and tired. Our bathroom had a tiny shower cubicle with a nasty plastic curtain. The basin was dirty, as was the floor.
However it was very handy for Euston and St. Pancras and the Tube. We were at the back of the hotel and it looked onto a leafy square and was very quiet. Breakfast was good and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a large room

Small stairs and 8 square meters room, but the receptionist is polite and the prize is good.
Onto longer residence inappropriate, because of the claustrophobia.
The metro is close, the transport and the hotel's position was good.
The bathroom was a little bit blight (green).

I've given this hotel four stars because of its location close to Euston station,Kings Cross and Russell Square, clean and friendly reception staff and a nice English breakfast the only downside as other reviews have said is that the rooms are quite small but for a couple of nights it's ideal for London it's what you want bed and breakfast.

Ideally placed for St Pancreas and Euston station. Reception open 24 hours so great for flexibility. took our luggage off us before check in making exploring much easier. Breakfast served efficiently. Only criticism is size of the double room, more suited to one than two. Shower was particularly cramped. However saying this room was reasonably cheap and size comes as a premium in london.

Very friendly staff - couldn't get away from the chatty guys at reception when I checked in! As other reviewers have said, the rooms are small, but I've stayed in (much) smaller rooms in London! Breakfast was nothing special, but it was fine and included in the (very reasonable) room rate. Great location: easy walking distance from Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras. It's also just under 3 minutes walk from the British Library (one of my favourite places in London) :-). Oh, and the wifi is free - which is still pretty rare.
