We are lucky to have this wonderful gallery on our doorstep. We visited the Hockney - which was an interesting display of his early printmaking and put his later work in perspective. The permanent collection is worth investigating too - as you leave the Hockney there is the DPG's own Veronese hanging on the wall. The gallery comes with its own cafe and gardens and is always a joy to visit.
