Stopped in after exchanging some old currency for the new currency at the Bank of England. It is free to enter. The museum is small, but informative. I was hoping to see more coinage from years ago; there was some but not as much as I had hoped to see. It takes about 20 minutes to visit unless you want to read everything.

Easy to get around, fascinating history of money and cheques. Loved looking at the old money and handling a gold bar! Free to enter, helpful staff and very informative. Lovely building and easy to find. Possibly not great for under 7's as mainly lots to read, however, it doesn't take long to go around the museum.

It’s free, so that helps. I went there with school friends, so they gave us one hour presentation about the role of the bank. Which is very informative. I like that they have this cartoon movie that makes everything seems easier. The museum is good. It is not that big. So visit went very quickly. But you can spend more time with their interactive stuffs. They have a lot of interactive stuffs. A lot of children are playing with it. So it is really a good place to take kids.

You can visit this museum for free and it is quite interesting with the history of the bank and also information about the famous people that appear on banknotes.
You can also lift a gold bar , if you can 'cos it is very heavy.
Wouldn't go out my way to visit again but if you are looking for something to do on a rainy day then you could come in out the rain for a while.
Also child friendly.
