Owner description: Opened in 1871, the Royal Albert Hall is the world’s most famous stage. It is also one of London’s most iconic and visited tourist attractions. Over the years, it has been the scene of over 150,000 performances; from Wagner to Sinatra, The Beatles to Beyonce, Muhammad Ali to Adele, and is home to the celebrated BBC Proms. Whilst the venue is most famous for its shows by night, by day this treasured building is open for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and guided tours of the building. Tip for tour ticket holders: Enjoy a 10% discount on items in the Hall’s gift shop and Cafe Bar.

For a building that looks like an ornate giant jelly mould, and has a large auditorium, somehow you get an intimate concert space. The accoustics are famous, enhanced by the hanging 'mushrooms'. My Dad says he is responsible for those, but I'm not entirely sure I believe him....... Home of the Festival of Remembrance and the Henry Wood Proms. Dance a Hornpipe!!

A marvellous establishment, superbly designed and atmospheric, though catering facilities a little disappointing.

“Find a show and go!”

The Hall is such a great auditorium. Whether it is the Proms, or special concerts, it is well worth a trip. Real atmosphere; great acoustics. Only disappointed once many years ago at a Tom Jones concert when the sound was really poor - and LOUD

“Super place”

Saw Cirque Du Soliel here. Wonderful venue. Recommend that you book a table at the restaurant there. You get to come back to the same table during the interval if you want: highly recommended if you have pre-ordered drinks and snacks. You just go straight in and sit yourself down again. No need to queue as the table has already been set out for you. Definitely made the evening even better!

“One classy venue !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 January 2012

Visited the Royal Albert Hall to see Cirque to Soleil.
What an aamzing building ! We arrived early and had a wander around the curved corridors of the various floors, grabbing a couple of drinks in afew of the 11 bars in the building. We then went to our seats to take in the awesome space, with its historic and intricate interior design in decadent golds and reds.
The seats were lacking in leg room and those 6 foot and over may struggle in some seats. There also appeared to be 3 levels of boxes, which are expensive and meant that there was quite a large gap between the level and prices of seats available.
Overall though, this location will make any event extra special.
