An amazing concert hall with a great history. Do the guided tour and learn a lot!! You won't regret it!
We went to a classical music concert - I was apprehensive buying these seats but they were really good. We managed to see performers up close, sound was great. The only inconvenience it's not much room for legs - it was a bit uncomfortable for my mum as she couldn't change the seating position much (2,5 hour concert).
Fantastic tour and wonderful tour guide. Went on tour before seeing Swan Lake which was also amazing. Our tour guide was excellent and showed us around the Royal Albert Hall including the Queen's Royal Box. We were also able to see the dancers practising before the actual ballet.
Glorious venue for live music, opulent and spacious but able to generate a very intimate feel. Great acoustics which helped the concert feel extra special.
Even if you don't see a show there, just a look is worth it. It is incredible and full of history. It is owned by a Royal Trust and thus although commercial, not over the top in terms of cost. Right opposite in the Kensington Gardens is the Albert Memorial.
We visited the Royal Albert Hall during the half term holidays. My sons love exploring the history of London. The play we watched was Arabian Nights. Incredible engaging play for children. My sons were captivated. Very enjoyable and we shall return for future productions. The cafe is very children friendly and the staff, as busy as they were, were extremely accommodating.
