Owner description: Opened in 1871, the Royal Albert Hall is the world’s most famous stage. It is also one of London’s most iconic and visited tourist attractions. Over the years, it has been the scene of over 150,000 performances; from Wagner to Sinatra, The Beatles to Beyonce, Muhammad Ali to Adele, and is home to the celebrated BBC Proms. Whilst the venue is most famous for its shows by night, by day this treasured building is open for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and guided tours of the building. Tip for tour ticket holders: Enjoy a 10% discount on items in the Hall’s gift shop and Cafe Bar.

I have to say that the tour was amazing. Fantastic / romantic history with fabulous guide. The royal stair case and room was such a honored to visit. A must visit

Now this is a Hall. not just a tiny West-End Theatre, but an awe-inspiring magnificent space. We were there for the Space Spectacular and that's what it was - wonderful 75 piece Orchestra and ultra-modern Laser Lighting Show as we sipped on fine wine in our Booth obtained easily from the nearby Bar. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Completed in 1871, this massive concert hall was named for Queen Victoria's deceased husband. She laid the foundation stone in 1868 for this red brick circular structure with extensive decoration and a frieze symbolizing the triumph of the arts and sciences. I was fortunate to attend the Derek Deane production of Swan Lake in June. With Tchaikovsky's soaring music, 60 sublime swans in the corp de ballet, classic choreography and extraordinary performances, it was a night to remember. The accoustics and sight lines for this ballet in the round were outstanding.
Tours of the building can be booked at the ticket office on the south side of the building.

What a fascinating tour! Incredible architecture and history. Anyone who is anyone in show biz has performed here. Get a glimpse of the Royal Retiring Room and the view from the Royal Box.

This time we sat in The Gods for the concert by Kenny G. As ever, the venue was great and the music awesome. A great evening
