Owner description: Opened in 1871, the Royal Albert Hall is the world’s most famous stage. It is also one of London’s most iconic and visited tourist attractions. Over the years, it has been the scene of over 150,000 performances; from Wagner to Sinatra, The Beatles to Beyonce, Muhammad Ali to Adele, and is home to the celebrated BBC Proms. Whilst the venue is most famous for its shows by night, by day this treasured building is open for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and guided tours of the building. Tip for tour ticket holders: Enjoy a 10% discount on items in the Hall’s gift shop and Cafe Bar.

My husband and took a guided tour of the Albert Hall. As a wheelchair user I was very impressed at the ease of access throughout the Hall., totally inclusive. The tour guide was very interesting and made it a really enjoyable experience. Certainly thoroughly recommended.

Attended the group Heart's concert in June and the evening was simply amazing with the lighting and the band, however the auditorium finally set it off - if you like live music this venue is a must!

My son and I visited this beautiful building. We did the tour with about 20 other people and our tour guide Millie was wonderful. We saw everything from the top floor to the bottom. A beautiful building which I have seen on many concert dvd's and shows and it was a real thrill to see it in person. The tour I believe was only 10 pounds or something....well worth it.

The Royal Albert Hall is one of the best venues you can go to for live music. Whether it is classical, rock, pop, folk, jazz or blues the acoustics of the RAH are amazing. It is also great for comedy events like the Prince's Trust.
It doesn't matter where you sit as long as you are level with or in front of the stage. Unfortunately they do, on occasion, sell tickets for behind the stage and that is a misfortune for anyone who ends up there. The acoustics are still good because the Hall is round and the sound circulates, but you only get to see the backs of the performers. Many of the boxes are owned/leased by celebrities - we have seen HRH the Prince of Wales and Lady Camilla, Jimmy Page and Jim Davidson in boxes on visits there.
The O2 is great as is Wembley Arena but the Royal Albert Hall is significantly special.
