Owner description: Opened in 1871, the Royal Albert Hall is the world’s most famous stage. It is also one of London’s most iconic and visited tourist attractions. Over the years, it has been the scene of over 150,000 performances; from Wagner to Sinatra, The Beatles to Beyonce, Muhammad Ali to Adele, and is home to the celebrated BBC Proms. Whilst the venue is most famous for its shows by night, by day this treasured building is open for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and guided tours of the building. Tip for tour ticket holders: Enjoy a 10% discount on items in the Hall’s gift shop and Cafe Bar.

This is undoubtedly a great venue, if not the best in London.

However we were shocked at the bar prices. At a recent concert, we went to the bar for drinks between acts. A 250ml glass of rose was £10, and a 250ml glass of sauvignon blanc was a staggering £14. And whats more, it was served tepid not cold in a plastic cup after queuing for 10 minutes.

Ok premium venure, premium prices bit lets have premium service to justify it.

Thank Nick B

From Cirque du Soleil to Last Night at the Proms to UB40 the venue has hosted performances for every age and every interest. But no matter what the entertainment is the building has to be part of the attraction. The building shouts of grandeur, and when you sit in a private box with red velvet surrounds ttou feel special. From the standing balcony at the very top to the main floor, every level brings a different perspective. Good bars within although slightly pricey but understandable given your surroundings.

Absolutely one of the best experiences i've ever had anywhere

Music was amazing, the sounds were exquisite, and viewing from a 2nd floor box at the rear allowed me to watch the whole orchestra and see each piece being played.

Can't wait to come back for another

I was lucky enough to go to RAH to see Nine Inch Nails last Sunday. My friend that I was with is in a wheelchair and I have to say the staff were really attentive where we sat.....opening doors, stopping people to let us out, but all without being patronising. The café was ok. Security staff were good. Obviously the venue is amazing! A lot of amazing acts have appeared there, and you can understand why as the sound travels really well.
