Owner description: Leadenhall is a thriving Victorian covered retail centre with a wide range of goods on sale. Its cobbled walkways and glass roof make it an attractive place to shop, eat and drink or simply to relax. Famous visitors include John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and Harry Potter.

Went here because I am one of Harry Potter fans :) The place were really noisy, lots of people around especially in lunch time. The building is really beautiful, Victorian style. Worth a visit. Nearest tube station: Monument.

The bars here and cheese shops and butchers and restaurants all very photogenic, we had a great drink here and were amazed at the level of noise. My visitors think that we English are quiet and reserved, shows you what reading books does for you, I explained that the country existed at something bordering on a low level riot.

Good for a quick snifter.

Rotarians toured the Square Mile with Tour Guide Kate Tucker from London Walks on 18th May 2014. One of the sites covered in this tour was Leadenhall Market. Though this has become more of a bohemian shopping arcade, unlike it past when it was a food market, it remains a good site to visit. Pay particular attention to the Roman sculptures which provide a link to its past. It is a covered market, very clean and bright. Its shops have a variety of interesting items on display. This is a place for both the younger and older tourists.

I did some research on Harry Potter movie site. It was one of the most "photogenic" building! Love it.

Thoroughly enjoyed walking through Leadenhall Market recently. Lovely architecture, lively, buzzy restaurants and pubs - all well frequented. Small interesting shops to peruse. A little piece of history amongst the modern architecture/skyscrapers in the vicinity. We loved it and walked through a second time later that day. It seems to provide an excellent 'watering hole' for the City at the conclusion of a days work. For information there is currently some refurbishment work involving scaffolding, etc, going on to maintain the Victorian architecture but even this did not detract from our enjoyment. Well worth a visit.
