“Cutty Sark, Greenwich”

Thoroughly enjoyed visiting this old tea clipper. The history on board was fantastic as was the hands on activities for children and adults alike. There was an easter egg hunt on the day we went which gave the children something to search for on the way around. Cafe under the hull of the boat selling sandwiches ok but limited choice.

“Worth visiting”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

An example of world class ship design. How else does a ship hold the speed record from Australia to England for ten years? Well worth a visit, there’s so much to learn and see. Booking on-line is very convenient. It’s not cheap, not many London attractions are, but it is good value, especially for a family visit.

“Worth a visit”

Took the river cruise as the Cutty Sark was on our list of things to see. We were not disappointed. Reasonably priced - so well presented and very interesting. Lunch in the cafeteria was excellent too. A good few hours without a doubt.

“Really well done”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

Visited on a Monday afternoon, and the ship was near-empty. The hands on experience was really fun (and we were all adults), and must be especially awesome for children. Highly recommend.

“Entertaining history”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

This ship has been very well restored and is excellently presented to the visitor. Lots of interesting facts relevent whether you are a 60 something engineer or a 10 year old child. The children's exhibits were particularly well done but no room on them for us adults to play!!
