“Nice house, very beautiful garden”

The house is very nice, there is mix or artifacts from the owner of the house and a selection of art and music pieces which are nice to look at. I would really recommend the garden on a sunny day, you are free to bring a picnic and sunbathe, there are trees with apples growing on them and there is even a secret garden.

If you are in the Hampstead area, I would recommend you buy a joint ticket for 2 willow road Erno Goldfinger’s house, best to go to willow road first to book your time on the tour then go straight to Fenton house (its only about a 10min walk).

A visit to this 1698 William and Mary house is certainly well worth the visit. This beautifully maintained house is appropriately decorated with antiques and harpsichords. I was fortunate to visit while a very talented gentleman related the history of the instruments and then proceeded to play several pieces. The staff was also friendly and well informed. Spend a half hour in the garden for they definitely match the house in beauty.

An oasis of calm and beauty run by the National Trust to their usual high standard. The room guides were friendly and welcoming and the house was beautiful and set in a pretty garden. Dont miss out on visitng this property and admiring their many collections!

Beautiful house filled with ceramics and musical instruments. Only a couple of staff on hand and while friendly, they didn't provide any interpretation. The laminated information cards are heavily weighted to object information, leaving the visitor with little understanding of the context of the house. The gardens, while not huge, are beautiful and well worth the trip.

What a Hidden Gem the National Trust have got here. Great place to visit - great location by tube or car. Lots of very nice restaurants and bars around Hampstead Village to try.
Very helpful and polite staff on hand around the house. Not costly at all. Well worth the trip and not to be missed. Rooms around the house are fab. Will be back soon.
