Murder on the Orient Express 5 star fun.
Arrived at the lounge at Victoria Station to be met by the beautiful carriages of the Orient Express. The staff are impeccable. Nothing anyone in our carriage asked for was too much trouble. The food was excellent as were the fine wines and champagne.
Then you add the entertainment of the suspects in the murder mystery all played out by actors, each with a story to tell.
Grand day out.
Will be going with Belmond again.

This is an old refurbished train that travels from Victoria Station in London to Folkstone near the coast of England to take the Chunnel to France. We sat at small tabled and were served a full breakfast with crystal, china, silver and linen tablecloths starting with a Bellini. You are seated in large wing back chairs. Most people were travelling on to Paris or Venice on the Orient Express. That involved a bus ride from Folkstone to the Chunnel, through the Chunnel with the bus loaded in a carrier and then another bus ride to Calais were we changed trains. The train itself was beautiful and the staff the way service should be.

Dear Susan,

Thank you for taking the time to write a comment about your time with us!

The journey from Victoria to Venice is an incredible one and I am glad you enjoyed it. It is as you rightfully mentioned a step back in time!

We hope to welcome you again on the Belmond British Pullman very soon, maybe for a different kind of journey such as Bath or Sandringham.

Kind regards,

We both had an amazing time on this lovely train the history within the carriages was incredible /the comfort/the cleanliness and also all the decor throughout was amazing.
If you get the chance to enjoy the afternoon tea from Fortum and mason then I would certainly recommended it.

This was our third trip on the Belmond British Pulman. As previously the time on the train was brilliant, with exceptional food, drink and service. The staff were again excellent. Sadly the time in Bath was a huge disappointment. Long waits for the coaches and then for entrance to the Roman Baths left too little time to look round Bath for ourselves. Our previous trip to Sandringham was much better organised and enjoyable. Not sure if we would use the British Pulman again. Something I never thought I'd say.

Dear John,

Thank you very much for your comments.

Whilst it was great to read that you enjoyed your time on the train, I am very sorry about your disappointment regarding the Bath excursion.

We have been taking our guests to the Roman Baths for many years now and whilst there is sometimes a short wait for guests to enter during the busy summer months, we have never experienced such a long wait on previous trips. Upon investigation, we found out that the company running the Roman Baths has had problems upgrading their reservations software which resulted in the unusual queue at the entrance.

Every aspect of the experience should be perfect and I do apologise for this event which was unfortunate and beyond our control. We will ensure that going forward we will take every possible action to prevent it to happen to us again.

Once again please accept our most sincere apologies and I hope to welcome you again very soon on board the Belmond British Pullman.

Kind regards,

My mother and I boarded the amazing Belmond Pullman in London Victoria for a day trip to Bath complete with brunch as we headed to Bath, as we passed each station we felt like royalty and can only imagine how people felt many years ago. Returning to London as we entered the train the tables set with silver ware to eat a delicious 4 course meal. An experience we shall never forget!
