The room was too small to fulfill its description as a double room. Two single beds were pushed together. One of the beds was forty centimetres from the door to the tiny bathroom, so the door could not open fully. This created a safety hazard. Body parts and clothing were in danger of being caught on the door latch. Emergency personnel would have trouble trying to remove someone from the bathroom. The room did not have a safe, and the staff, who did not know how to smile, wanted us to pay five pounds to use the safe in the office. The only good point is its location, in a very quiet street close to the Piccadilly Line which provides cheap transport to the airport. We stayed there one night after a trip to Spain because our flight home to Oz departed from London. We were glad this hotel was our not our base for an extended stay in London.

Room Tip: Insist on getting a real double room and remind staff of our bad experience in a single room that ha...

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel having read some bad reviews on Trip Advisor. One of the men at the front desk was very pleasant, however others at the desk were less so. The hotel was located 2 mins from Earls Court subway, which is on the Blue line (takes you to most of the main attractions). The room was very clean and had everything we needed (Television, Wardrobe, Dressing table and Tea and Coffee Facilities). No complaints whatsoever regarding the room. The hotel was located off a main street, which had loads of bars, cafes and restaurants as well as shops. Would stay again!

The hotel is fine and our room has air con, TV and tea making facilities but the room is about the size of a small boat cabin. That's fine as we are out all day but even though we travel light, there is barely enough room for our bags.

The hotel entrance/facade was beautiful with all the flowers, the reception area ok, as well, but the corridors above were very narrow. The room we had was clean, but very small. But everything we needed was there, two nice beds, tea-/coffee-making facilities, shower, Tv, etc. What we would have liked, was air-conditioning. At the end of August it was very hot at night. However, if you need a room to stay overnight and to keep your belongings, the hotel is a good choice. It is near the Earl's Court tube station (Piccadilly Line to Heathrow and e.g. Leicester Square and theatres). There are many places nearby to have breakfast or dinner, and Hyde Park, many museums and shops can be reached on foot.

This overpriced, underwhelming, hotel was the bane of my stay in London. I can get over a small room and zero amenities, but i drew the line at the busted, old, spring mattress. If you are looking for a more comfortable sleeping arrangement there is a nice park bench a few blocks away.

Visitors to the website should also be warned that the rooms being shown there are not want is being rented.
