The Goring was a wonderful experience. The rooms were lovely and the service fantastic! From the moment we checked in we felt comfortable and at home. The afternoon tea was spectacular the lounge was a great place to unwind in the evenings. Alistar at the door and Jordan in the lounge were very friendly and the concierge team very helpful. The Hotel is in a great location and we enjoyed walking in the area. As a hotel with not many rooms, it provides a very intimate and personalized experience that is often lost in larger hotels. We cannot wait to return.

Dear K C,

Thank you very much for your wonderful review of your stay at The Goring earlier in the year.

We are all delighted that on your next trip to London you would not wish to stay anywhere else. Alistair and Jordon are chuffed to pieces to have been mentioned individually and I am thrilled that all of the team at The Goring made you feel at home.

We hope that we will be able to welcome you back before too long to your home away from home in London.

With warmest wishes,

Me and my mum stayed 1 night and had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. The staff are so lovely and approachable and nothing is too much trouble and make you feel welcome. It's a lovely treat and once in lifetime experience. Only thing is drinks are a tad expensive, but I realise that's London prices for you !

Mobile phones, ipads etc are forbidden in the tea room, which I think creates this very special atmosphere : a mix of old school England and relaxed countryside at the same time. Service was impeccable, prices were reasonable, and the view over the garden makes a difference in the very heart of London.
Relaxing, quiet, a great place where to read a good novel on a winter afternoon. During the summer, one can also sit in the garden I was told...

Dear youpi546,

Thank you very much for your wonderful review of your recent afternoon tea at The Goring

I am delighted that you enjoyed your afternoon tea with us and found it to be little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of central London. We find that asking guests to switch off phones and laptops really enables all of our guests to also switch off, relax and let us take the strain out of everyday life.

We all look forward to welcoming you back to The Goring and hopefully it will be during the summer when the garden is in full bloom.

The Goring is simply a fantastic event. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel special, in a typically under stated British way the Edwardian hotel has a 100 years of service fined tuned to ensure your stay is perfect.

It's not cheap, but if you want mark a special occasion I can't think of any where else I'd rather be.

Food is fantastic, the rooms are big enough and decorated to high standard.

We just arrived home from a week's stay at the Goring. I have travelled all over the world and I can truly say NO hotel has such gracious and top tier service as The Goring ( maybe perhaps the Ritz in Paris). It was my children's first trip to London (ages 10 and 12) and they felt the splendor of another world in another age. They adored their quintessentially English accommodations and the art of High Tea. The Restaurant which we dined in on our final evening
was better than every other highly rated restaurant in London. Anything we possibly needed was brought to us ,COMPLIMENTARY and John, the concierge is one of the finest in the world. John
made every outing a breeze with pre-purchased tickets and guides. My only regret is there is only one Goring!

Visited for lunch with friends. Had a lovely meal in a superbly appointed restaurant. The service was second to none and could not of been bettered.

Prior to our meal we had a drink in the super bar and were looked after very well by Brian.

Just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay at the Goring and I can honestly say this is the best hotel we have stayed in! Exemplary customer service, lovely room and fantastic food. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived.

We had afternoon tea one of the days and a three course evening meal on another and the food was outstanding! We hope to return very soon.
