We booked this Accomodation as we have 8, 6 & 4 year old kids and trained to London from north England to Euston and it has a family room for 5.

The staff here are very helpful, break fast is great and the location of the Hotel makes getting to tourist locations easy.

Room Tip: There are rooms which are at the back of the hotel and front so check with staff, the family rooms i...

I had to go to London for an evening event at very short notice and didn't want to have far to travel either from the event or my train station - This hotel was both and much less expensive than I expected to pay in the Connaught Village area. It is also very safe as in a nearby street are the armed police outside Tony Blair's house!

the staff at check -in and throughout my brief stay were excellent.
The Hotel room (I made sure I booked an en-suite - as not all are) was fine for my one night in London - The decor style is hotel bland and inoffensive - but the execution of the decor look liked it had been done by a drunken blind manwho didn't care. A bit harsh may be but the tiling in my ensuite was atrocious and the glosswork patchy. But this doesn't spoil the stay.
The Breakfast was perfectly acceptable and good value.
the stairs -I had read lot of reviews moaning about the stairs and lack of lift - strange so many should mention it. I was only on the second floor, and although quite stocky; reasonably fit. - something about the angle , riser-height or whatever, made what seems a perfectly normal georgian town-house cantilever stairs exhausting to climb. I pity the 4th floor guests.
Value for money: The other reviewers who monaed about the room size or facilities just don't get it - This hotel is a clean, friendly place for an amazing price in the heart of one of London's most beautiful and expensive areas - by all means pay 3 times the price to stay in a similar house with better decor and fluffier pillows and posh lighting, but it you want a comfortable, relatively inexpensive hotel for a short stay in London - this is it!

Room Tip: Ensuite nearer the ground floor

My husband and I stayed at the Parkwood this last week for the 1st time. We were looking for a B and B experience in London and they delivered! The wonderful staff, Gail, Inga, Elwira, Marta, Marika, Paula and Janosz treated us like royalty. So kind and helpful! They even remembered my birthday with a delightful bottle of wine. The breakfasts in the morning were excellent and served quickly and yet without rushing. I highly recommend the Parkwood!

This is a basic B&B, but it's location so close to Marble Arch, Oxford Street and Hyde Park make it good value. The breakfast is a reasonable English option with eggs, sausage etc. The coffee is in a carafe on the table and may be cool if it's been sitting here for a while. Hot coffee was provided when this was pointed out. The room that we had was small but not too small. There is no elevator. Extra marks for the receptionist who stayed after her 10 pm closing time to let us in after our plane was diverted to Stanstead due to the Valentine's Day wind storm.
