“Wonderful visit ...3rd time return”

This is a great place to stay while visiting London. It is affordable for a heart of London hotel and includes a full English breakfast with the rate. The staff are very helpful and kind and it has authentic British appeal. I will stay here every time I visit London. Close to many attractions including: Oxford St shopping, Hyde Park, tour buses, Harrods, and much more. There is no elevator/lift so accessibility may be the only thing of concern for some. The hotel clearly states this in all information given though. Love the Parkwood!

First visit to London and wanted to stay somewhere central but not in a large chain hotel , my choice of Parkwood at Marble Arch was perfect !!
Fabulous location , so close to tube station and bus stops! Easy walk to Oxford St (shoppers paradise ) and Hyde Park at end of Stanhope Place !
The hotel is gorgeous from street appearance and blends with the atmosphere of this delightful area. Inside is warm and inviting in its decor and the staff to greet you are the same ! Nothing was too much trouble and very helpful giving local directions and suggestions.
Daily cooked breaky , specific to whatever and however you wanted it home cooked , was yummy and a great start to day of sight seeing on foot ! And that is exactly what is great about this hotel , we could walk to everywhere easily !! Kensington Gardens, Buckingham Palace even Notting Hill !

Would highly recommend staying at Parkwood at Marble Arch and will myself definitely rebook when i next visit London!

Room Tip: We stayed first floor with a room looking over the street , larger than i expected . Very Happy !

Being my first overseas trip I was a bit nervous that I had booked a b&b rathet than a big hotel but as soon as I walked into the foyer I had realised that I had made the right choice.
Gail is super helpful, anything you need to know go to her.
The rest of the staff are fantastic, there cooked breakfast is really great and after the rooms have been serviced they are sparkling clean and well presented.
I would definitely recommend this b&b to anyone who wants a quiet, friendly wholesome placd to stay in London and I will be staying at The Parkwood next time im in London

We stayed here again on the nights of 23-25th April 14 inclusive. More great service, close to the centre of this wonderful city. It is not, nor does it claim to be "The Ritz" but it is quiet, clean, friendly and welcoming, topped of by a good breakfast. Excellent value.

Room Tip: We stayed in room No 1 on the ground floor

First solo trip to London and couldn't have chosen a better Hotel/B&B to stay in.
The rooms were great, they had everything you needed in them.
The location was fantastic so close to the tube station and being across from Hyde Park was fantastic as you could go across and it was like you weren't in the middle of a busy city it was so quite and relaxing.
The staff were fantastic especially Gail, if you needed to know anything she was the person to ask and if she didn't know of the top of her head then she would look it up on the map, show you then had you a map with the right directions.
Overall I had a fantastic stay and would defiantly come back and stay on future visits.
Thank you to all the staff you made my stay easy and fun and if anyone would ask for somewhere good to stay would recommend in a heartbeat.

We are staying here at present and could not be more satisfied with our choice of accommodation. Having just read the preceding review, I was surprised with the petty criticisms. Sure, the shower is a bit small and the storage space is somewhat limited, but hey, it is not The Ritz and you do get what you pay for Linda. We are staying in Room 2 on ground floor, lots of natural light with a private deck ( including very live flowers). Gayle, Inge and all the staff here could not be more welcoming and helpful. Overall, brilliant value for money in a great inner location. Highly recommended.
