I stayed for a single night recently, costing £85 including breakfast. You can't really argue with what it offers for the price.
I stayed for easy access to the Heathrow Express train and jumped on the 05:10 train first thing in the morning so can't comment on breakfast. Paddington station is just over 5 mins away.

Room (single) turned out to be a triple with a sofa, so had plenty of room. Bathroom is small, but for this price lots of places don't even offer en-suites. The hallways are a bit "student halls", and the rooms aren't exactly plush - but again, you wouldn't expect them to be.

Free wifi, tea facilities in room and you can borrow an ironing board. Large TV in the room as well.

Close to transport links at Paddington.

We stayed here for 7 days in room 214 which has a small balcony overlooking the main street. There are 3 of us. When I made the reservations I specifically asked to be in the main building and on the 2nd floor and they honored my request. The size of the room is sufficient for the 3 of us adults. We had enough space to put our luggage and other stuff in the room. The first couple of days we had issues on how to operate the shower (the bathrooms have all been recently remodeled) but management came up promptly to help us. We had breakfast here every morning. We don't really need a lot so we felt satisfied with the breakfast selection. You do have a choice of full english breakfast for extra fee but we didn't need it since we don't eat a lot. The lady at the breakfast room went out of her way to take care of everyone. She had a couple of people helping her and they were all very helpful and efficient. The location of this hotel can't be beat. The Heathrow Express took 15 minutes to get to Paddington Station. Paddington Station is about 5-10 minutes walk to the hotel. Easy walk. We used the Underground train a LOT while we we're in London. It takes getting used to. We got on the wrong train the first day but we just backtracked and we found our way alright. After a few more tries we got the system down. It is really a great way to get around and it is very efficient. There are people at the information booth or staff around to ask for help. We went to Paris for one day, we asked the staff at the hotel to arrange a taxi pickup for us at 5am the next day and they gladly did so. They even made us some food to bring! I highly recommend this hotel. It is clean and the staff are very professional. The location is close to a lot of restaurants and the underground stations. It is in a safe area and surprisingly quiet area too. We walked back to our hotel around 9:30pm one night and there are still a lot of people around. By the way, we arrived there at 8am from Heathrow Airport on the first day, too early to check in, but we were able to leave our luggage there while we roamed around. We returned around 3pm and our bags were already in our room. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Rhodes Hotel staff for making our first trip to London warm and welcoming!

I stayed on 2 occasions - locality is brilliant - either to Paddington Station, or a super walk through Hyde Park, or all the way in to London Central - wonderful way to see local life/parks etc and get some exercise. The rooms were small but perfect for one person, new showers etc, clean linen, comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was a good continental breakfast, with the very reasonaly priced option of an English breakfast. The host and staff were pleasant and helpful. No problems with payments, bills etc.

The owner of the Hotel Mr & Mrs Crias are very nice and helpful and so is the rest of the staff. the rooms have been renovated so they are in a good shape, although they are very small (single) i was upgraded after one night to a bigger room that was great. the air condition was a must in the hot days. the breakfast needs a renovation, it is a simple continental (toast, chees, ham, juice, Cereals). The Hotel is 3-4 minute walk from Paddington station and there are very nice resturants and pubs on the way.

I stayed at this B&B for about 5 nights with family. The hotel has two parts, the main building and another building about 3 mins walk around the corner. We stayed in the other building. It is close to Hyde Park, about a 5 min walk and then another 5 mins to get to Oxford Street. It is about 2 min to the nearest bus stop and metro.
The building where we stayed has no lift but we were helped with our luggage to the second floor. The stairs get narrower after the second floor. The rooms were quite clean and comfortable with coffee and tea facilities and a small fridge. The bathroom was rather small, more like a closet but all furnishings were new. There was free internet.
Our continental breakfast was included in the room cost and was quite good, cereal, toast cheese, butter, jam, fruit, juice and quite good coffee. On several mornings the owner, who was present every morning at breakfast, cooked us eggs. I received some very nice chocolates too from him to commemorate the Queen's jubilee. On departure, they arranged for transport to the airport, which was on time. The driver was very helpful so much so that we realized we could travel straight to the airport instead of going by train for only a little more than the cost of the train tickets and taxi fare to the station.

We found the staff extremely pleasant, willing to answer all our questions. What makes this hotel stand out is the service, the personal touch given by the owner and general attitude of the staff. They certainly try to make their guests comfortable.

Room Tip: Choose lower floor if you have lots of luggage and is stairs are not your thing,
