We stayed for 3 nights at the Abba Queen's Gate hotel. We had 2 adults and 2 children in our party and stayed in a reasonable sized family room which had 2 3 foot twin beds for the adults and 2 x 2 foot 6 inch posh pullouts for the kids.

The room was a good size and it felt like we had a bit of space- our end and their end!

This was a good base for visiting London- it was a 5-10 minute walk to Gloucester Road or South Kensington tube stations- and was ideal for the Natural History Museum and Science Museum- again a 5 minute walk around the corner.

The staff were friendly and helpful- but more in the background rather than assisting you with everything in a way that you would expect in a more expensive hotel.

There was a good selection of local restaurants and shops so it made eating out easy. No taxis required.

The hotel was in a lovely location, close to tube stations and many great cafes and shops. Staff were reasonably helpful although some more helpful than others. Our room was very spacious, as was the bathroom. The gym was very small with limited equipment, however was all we needed. The room was very quiet as we were facing away from the street, thus no view as such, but very quiet.
The toiletries provided were of a high standard and plentiful.
generally it was very clean, although the bath was not cleaned one day, and we did notice empty room service trays is the hallways from evening until late the following day. We did not sample the breakfasts as there are numerous great well priced cafes nearby.
generally a very good experience and we would definitley return to this hotel.

Hotel - very good location, clean, stylish.
I did find the staff ok but not very dedicated for 4* hotel - in fact quite a few times there was no one on the reception (so you can either wait or try to find them in their back office)

Room - spacious, confortable big bed, I was on the 4th floor with nice view over the tops. Complimentary snack and tea bags were looking a bit "used"... Wifi is a bit expensive and did not seem to work that well.

Bathroom - nice small and clean with very good selection of toiletries

Breakfast - ok with reasonable food choice - but orange juice machine had this daily idea of not to work properly. Staff was nice, but didn't find them too effective either.

In general - I would recommend the hotel for people who like good accommodation in good location, maybe not for business travelers where more hi-tech amenities are needed... and not for people with very high expectations.

Would highly recommend this hotel to people looking for a good deal and wanting single beds in London. Rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable.

Stayed at the Abba hotel a few days ago, as we were going to a show at the Royal Albert Hall, which is 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. We booked via Booking.com which was trouble free and allowed cancellation up until 24hrs before.
Room was very clean and nicely designed, good selection of toiletries.
We arrived at 12 and even though check in wasn’t till 2 they let us have our room straight away.
All the staff was excellent and very friendly.
Breakfast was a buffet which was also very good but an extra cost of £15 per person.
The main draw of this hotel is its location 5 minutes from Royal Albert, Naturel History Museum and Hyde Park.
There’s a very good pub just round the corner called the Queens Arms, which served good food.
