I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and was very satisfied. The hotel has a very modern feel to it with updated decor. The rooms and bathroom were a tad small but that's typical for European hotels. Everything was clean and the staff were very pleasant. The daily breakfast was very good with alot of food choices. I especially enjoyed the bartender and the evening shift desk staff.

This is a small boutique hotel no more than 5 minutes walk from the Albert Hall which was great as getting there from most places is not easy on public transport. Rooms were reasonable size and nice decor. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the good. Free wi fi in rooms ( though pretty slow). The only adverse comment for us was that it seems a little short staffed. When we arrived no one was on reception and we had to go and hunt through the hotel to find someone. Service when we did find someone however was good

First and foremost, thank you very much for spending your time to comment on your recent stay.

We are thrilled to read that our location has been so convenient for you and that the short walk to the RAH added an extra touch to the memorable night out at the hall.

I would like to make a formal apology regarding the absence of our reception staff when you arrived in the evening, I am certain he was assisting one of our guest with a particular issue. All of our staff are trained to a very high standard, and always try to do their best to satisfy our guests.

Yet further I am glad to find you enjoyed the size and style of the room you were allocated in as well as our free wi-fi and our attentive customer service. I stayed at the Abba Queens Gate, at the beginning of September. My trip was based around a concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
The Hotel is in the perfect location for the Albert Hall, and Sights around the centre of London.
The Hotel is literally straight across the road from the albert hall... what more could i ask for.
Room was beautiful, a tiny bit small, but this what you expect from a central london hotel. The hotel was only 20 minutes froms King Cross by tube, and no changes needed.

Will be staying here again.

I stayed here for two nights and was quite impressed overall. My small single room was well equipped, quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location was good, about 8mins walk from South Kensington or Gloucester Road tube stations. However, a few things let this hotel down. The shower was tiny, seriously small. I'm average sized but had to turn sideways to get into it and couldn't easily wash my hair. After flushing the toilet filled for about 45 mins and it was really loud! Breakfast had loads of choice but the 'hot' food was cold and not that well prepared. But these are small things and I'd happily stay here again.

Dear „ Kathy535 “,

Thank you very much for the time invested in writing your kind feedback. The satisfaction of our guests has highest priority to us and for that your feedback is most appreciated.

However I was really very sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations with regards to the size of the shower that was allocated to you. Please accept my apologies for the disappointment this would have caused. Being an older style Victorian townhouse property we have a wide selection of styles, shapes and sizes of accommodation with each room being unique and I am sorry that your particular room was not to your taste.

I would like to thank you for bringing to our attention this issue with your toilet. Please rest assured that the matter has been addressed to our maintenance team and we shall re-check it as a priority.

Nonetheless I was pleased that you would stay again with us as it probes that the service at the hotel met the high standards of hospitality we are always set out to do.

Thank you very much once again for giving your feedback and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you again in a near future.

Yours sincerely

I'll start off by saying that I'd initially chosen this hotel because of it's position. It's really handy as the Natural History Museum is at the bottom of the road, Victoria & Albert museum is a few hundred yards along from it. Gloucester Rd Underground is less than 10 minutes away. next to it is a Tesco, fast food oulets, pub and smaller cafes so you don't ever need to starve !! My request for a downstairs room was met with a smile and it was a brilliant room! High quality furnishings, Egyptian cotton bedding ( I think) , large flat screen TV, and loads of toiletries, even toothbrushes and mini tubes of toothpaste. You really couldn't ask for much more. we didn't pay for breakfast to keep our stay affordable.
This hotel however should provide an information sheet/ booklet about the hotel.
There was a fire alarm test, but we didn't know in advance. the phone in our room rang, but it's a designer phone and we couldn't work out how to answer it. There was a room service menu, but we weren't sure how much, if any was added to the price for room service. The bath was deep and long, but a bath mat would help guests, as it's too slippy without it.
There are all very small things , but would help enhance the stay of guests. The staff were so kind, and were always smiling. there isn't very much to say in the negative. We had a lovely stay. We were provided with loads of very soft bath towels as well. a really good place to stay.
I also need to add that although our ground floor room was next to a ladies loo, and with a staircase beside it, the room was very quiet, and the beds are amongst the most comfortable I've ever slept in.
the décor in the room was modern, stunning and very clearly from high quality furnishings.
I would defo stay again , but would hope that there's a bath mat and an information booklet

Room Tip: We stayed in room 4 on the ground floor which was spacious , comfortable and quiet

The PERFECT location is a huge reason to choose to stay at the Abba Queen's Gate Hotel. It was ALL that I had expected, actually. The many bonuses include excellent & friendly service, stunning, contemporary decor that embrace and never diminish the existing, historical and quite beautiful original architectural details. Our immaculate room had 30' ceilings, luxurious linens, strong water pressure in the tub/shower, a truly wonderful and imaginative lighting system, and all the markings of a much more expensive hotel. I loved being able to reach Royal Albert Hall, the V&A, and many other places so quickly and easily. Reasonably priced, excellent restaurants and shops are just a few minutes walk away on Gloucester Road, the underground tube station is also very close (South Kensington) ... My husband and I plan to return next time we are in London.
