Perfect location for a weekend break in London. We went to the Albert Hall to see a performance and the hotel is less than 5 minutes walk away so ideally located.
Gloucester Road tube station is about 7 minutes in the other direction and there are shops and restaurants nearby.
The room was a reasonable size and very clean. There was a good size window for fresh air and all the normal items you would expect (TV, phone, hairdryer, tea & coffee, safe, iron, minibar). The bath was lovely and deep and the shower was well positioned and powerful.
We had a drink at the bar in the evening and had some tapas bar snacks which was all very nice. The barman was very friendly and knowledgeable and made everyone feel welcome. Breakfast offered lots of choice and was all very pleasant, although a better quality sausage would have just finished it off nicely.
All in all, it was a great place to stay. Perfectly located and the price was acceptable for a London hotel.
We hear there is soon to be a renovation (although it was in very good condition anyway), so we will happily return to see the improvements.
