“Well worth the trip”
Reviewed 5 October 2013 via mobile

We were recommended this place by several friends and went not really knowing what to expect. We thought the service was extremely courteous, the food was excellent and freshly prepared. Prices were very reasonable too. Recommended.

“Gets better each time”
Reviewed 25 August 2013

Very good food and super friendly staff. The food has come a long way since they first opened. I would classify it as just okay when they first opened but now I think it is excellent. It is not your typical greasy curry house. Great tandoori chicken, naan bread, veg curry and other dishes. They are great with kids and will make something custom for them (my daughter can't take any spice). The restaurant is half full (or less) but that's what you get in Wapping -- most of their trade seems to be takeaway (judging by someone always on the phone) but the experience is worth eating in.

“Excellent Indian in the East End!”
Reviewed 17 August 2013

Such good food here! Some of the best Naan bread we have had! The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive waiters.

I would definitely return. Don't be put off by the fact that the restaurant isn't full, this is Wapping and the restaurants never are!

Highly recommended for a relaxed and inexpensive meal out!

“Outstanding Indian Food - great service - good value”
Reviewed 24 June 2013

I love this place - the quality and freshness of the food is brilliant. I'm gluten free and the waiter understood this straight away - they prepare everything to order and it's beautifully done. Tandori Chicken and onion bajis are perfect. Really good traditional "English" Indian if you get my meaning. It's my go-to. And it delivers....

“I'm a big fan”
Reviewed 8 June 2013

Been eating here since it opened a few years ago and I've never been disappointed. The staff are extremely personable and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is very good and the menu contains some curries that I've not seen in my many trips to Brick Lane. I highly recommend the Special Chicken Muli and the Chicken Goa.

If I had one criticism it would be that the decor is poor. The restaurant is dark and slightly uninviting. However don't be put off by this - once you try the food you'll be glad you ate here.
