“So many flavours.”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

This Indian Restaurant is a great find. The menu has so much to choose from. The food is so well done it has so many different flavours that your typical average Indian doesn't. Even the Mango Chutney had a twist to it and it was spot on.

The food was fantastic, I don't think I would find a better Rogan Josh within 50 miles but the standout dish for me was the Chicken MoMo, this was done with a fantastic side salad and an array of sauces.

I was impressed with the food at Laksha Bay and will visit again, keep it up.

“Average Indian ”
Reviewed 3 June 2014 via mobile

Laksha bay is situated in a lovely part of London called Wapping, Me and my partner often visit this side of London when we fancy walking along the thames to take in the breathtaking views of tower bridge however it is a shame that this Local Indian Restaurant doesnt match the area. Average food, Average decor and Average service. I wouldn't recommend.

“Best Indian restaurant in the UK”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

My husband and I make the trip to Wapping once every 3 months so as to get the best Indian food from within the UK for over the past 7 years. This restaurant provides the same high level standards over and again. We are never disappointed. The food is flavoursome and the meat is tender, a vast array to chose from on the menu. The black dhaal is to die for and the garlic naan is light, fluffy and delicious. This restaurant has it all - top of the bill food, varied menu, food that makes your taste buds feel like that are at an all night rave, numerous drink selection to chose from, great location, not expensive for a high end meal, and lastly the item which distinguishes this restaurant from and other is its staff. Always friendly and welcoming, happy to adjust the menu for dietary requirements and most important, always great you with a smile and treat you like a old favoured customer. You can not go wrong with this restaurant.

“Hideous customer service”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

I am mortified at the fact Sha the waiter with glasses. Has just sworn down the phone at me I quote a threat saying he would urinate in my face ( but using the word p**s) due to the fact he confused our takeaway order. I certainly recommend to stay away from this curry house hes behaviour has been threatening before. Do avoid. No wonder they're aways quite. I shall take this abuse further. Being a women I found it terribly intimidating. Please no women venture in there.

“Great curry but average service”
Reviewed 3 March 2014

Had a very enjoyable curry despite the table arrangement meaning you spent most of the meal listening to the table next to you. The service is a little awkward but the flavour in the curry makes it bearable
