“Family Occasion”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 November 2012

We came to London for a family wedding in Southwark Cathedral and, as we were travelling with our 2 teenage children, chose to stay in a family room. The hotel provided an excellent base from which we could attend the wedding and reception with ease.
The clean and comfortable room afforded all of us a good night's sleep. We were even more impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff when checking in and at breakfast. They went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. All the family, but especially the children, enjoyed the breakfast.
The price was very good for a London hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Although the noise from Tower Bridge Road was not excessive, rooms at the rear of the hotel would be...

Loved this hotel. Great location, it was excellent staying right by tower bridge. Good bus routes out side for city locations. Nearest tube is London Bridge which is about a 10-15 min walk. Hotel staff were really friendly and a very comfortable night's sleep. Very clean and modern. Restaurant really good and reasonably priced. Would love to come back and will recommend to others.

I have stayed in quite a few Premier Inns throughout the UK over recent years and again they have not let me down. Good location for the Tower Of London, HMS Belfast and a 10-15 min walk to the nearest tube station. We were down for the Tennis at the O2 but also visited the Tower and the British Museum over the weekend. A bit of shopping and a trip to Harrods were also done along with a show and the cinema at Leicester Square.
We stayed 3 nights and as usual the room was clean and tidy and as always a good shower. The bed was very comfortable which was needed after a busy day. We had the breakfast on the Sunday which is Eat as much as you like at £8.95 and I know they have the Grab and Go option as well but i would like to see a continental breakfast option for a fiver or there about for the not so big eaters.
Would recommend this hotel to anybody who is after a good, clean and comfortable hotel for a reasonable price.

I am very thankful for your review and that we lived up to the other Premier Inns you have stayed at. Our location is very central to all those areas you have mentioned, very good transport links into the city.
We do have a continental offering, £5.25, which is without the hot buffet.

Thank you for your recommendation and we hope you we will see you soon.
Kind regards,
Ryan

Not stayed at this Premier Inn before but it will definately be on our list next time we come to London. From entering the hotel to checking out all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Had dinner in the hotel two nights of our stay - the food was really good, We liked the option of having meal deals, and the option of having a bar meal if you didn't want to eat in the restaurant. We thought the hotel provided just as good value for money as eating in the local pubs. Another plus is the hotel is within walking distance to explore the City of London (at Premier Inn prices) what more could you ask!!

Room Tip: We stayed on first floor overlooking the car park. No noise at all.

If you want to explore the City of London but don't want to spend a fortune on your hotel then book a couple of nights at the Premier Inn on Tower Bridge Road. Close to Tower Bridge, Hays Wharf and all the attractions along the river Thames. Just 15 minutes walk from Borough Market or hop on a bus from just outside the hotel to take you into Covent Garden, the West End or into the City / Liverpool Street / Spitalfields Market etc etc.
Clean and comfortable rooms, quiet despite the location.

I booked this hotel by accident!! Had stayed in the Tower Hill one last year and thought I was booking the same place this year. From the outset the staff were really helpful. Room as usual was clean. The bar was nice and had dinner in the restaurant the first night. I loved the calories on the menu!! Breakfast was really nice a good choice. Croissants were a bit burned every day so maybe that is the way the chef likes them????? Staff there were so nice. In particular a lovely guy whose name I cant remember Dwyaine or something.

I took advantage of the Sunday saver to be close to new granddaughter. Impressed by warm welcome, attentive staff, variety of food and clean, comfortable room. Was even permitted to leave one of my cases at the hotel for an hour after check out. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Thank you.
